What a fantastic weekend at the 2026 Little Athletics Queensland Conference!

Our team spent the weekend learning, sharing ideas, networking with other centres, and gaining valuable knowledge to help make the upcoming season our best yet.

Saturday night’s awards dinner brought plenty of fun, with this year’s theme being the 80s. Our team embraced the challenge and were thrilled to take home 2nd place in the Best Dressed competition! 🎉🕺🎶

A huge thank you to Little Athletics Queensland for hosting another outstanding conference and to our dedicated committee members who generously volunteered their weekend to support our athletes, families, and centre.

We’re excited to bring back new ideas, build on what we’ve learned, and continue creating the best possible experience for our members in the season ahead.

🌟 Tiny Tot Coordinators Wanted 🌟

Runaway Bay Little Athletics is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to take on the role of Tiny Tots Coordinators for the upcoming season.

This is a rewarding role helping our youngest athletes enjoy their introduction to Little Athletics through fun, engaging activities and skill development.

No coaching experience is necessary just a positive attitude, great communication skills and a passion for helping children have fun and be active.

If you would like to be involved in our amazing club and help shape the next generation of athletes, we would love to hear from you!

Our team Rene, Nikki, Kathleen & Lisa are spending the weekend at Twin Waters on the Sunshine Coast attending the 2026 Little Athletics Queensland Conference.

It’s a fantastic opportunity to learn, network and share ideas with fellow Centre committees from across Queensland, gaining valuable knowledge and insights to bring back to our club as we prepare for another exciting season.

We’re looking forward to putting these new ideas into action and can’t wait to welcome everyone back for the start of the new season in September!

Attention families we have had quite a few messages coming through but Some of you may have received an automated email from Little Athletics Queensland advising that your athlete’s registration is due to expire and inviting you to renew for the 2026/2027 season.

Little Athletics Queensland has confirmed that this email was sent automatically and can be disregarded.

Registrations for the 2026/27 season will be open in July so keep an eye out on our social media pages and the announcement of our open day date soon!

It’s a great opportunity for athletes to get back on the track, have some fun, and enjoy a winter break in some much warmer QLD weather ☀️

💛🖤 Farewell to Our Under 17 Athletes 💛🖤

As another amazing season comes to an end, we would like to say a very special farewell to our 4 incredible Under 17 athletes who have now graduated from Little Athletics.

Thank you for being such an important part of our club and for the dedication, sportsmanship and determination you have shown over the years. You have represented our club with pride, supported your fellow athletes and created so many wonderful memories along the way.

While your time at Little Athletics may be coming to an end, we hope this is only the beginning of your athletics journey. Keep chasing your goals, working hard and enjoying every moment of the sport you love.

We are so proud of everything you have all achieved and wish each of you all the very best for the future.
