If your body feels completely different to how it did five years ago, you're not imagining it.
39 and 44 can feel like two entirely different bodies. And for a lot of women, they genuinely are.
Oestrogen receptors exist throughout the brain, muscles, bones and gut. As oestrogen shifts, so does nearly everything: recovery time, sleep quality, mood, metabolism, motivation. The body that responded well to one kind of training may now need something entirely different.
This isn't failure. This is biology.
Our staff are trained specifically for this. Not to push you through it, to help you move with it.
That's what we're here for. 🤍

Something we want to say plainly: perimenopause doesn't just affect your body. It affects your entire relationship with routine.
The energy you used to count on disappears without warning. The 6am that felt easy last year suddenly feels impossible. The routine that worked for a decade stops working overnight and nobody told you this might happen.
Here's the science: during perimenopause, fluctuating oestrogen and progesterone directly affect cortisol regulation, sleep architecture and energy metabolism. Your body is not broken. It has changed its requirements. That is a completely different thing.
The answer is not to push harder against a body that's asking for something different. It's to build a routine that flexes with you.
Some weeks that's strength training. Other weeks it's stretch, stillness and twenty minutes in the sauna.
Routine still matters here. It just gets to look different now. 🤍

You are not lazy. You are not unmotivated. You are not failing at wellness.
You are running on empty, and you have been for a long time.
Here's something the wellness industry won't tell you: the pressure to do more, track more, optimise more, that pressure has a physiological cost. Sustained stress elevates cortisol.
Elevated cortisol disrupts the hormones that regulate your energy, your sleep, your mood. The exhaustion you feel isn't a character flaw. In many cases, it's a direct response to a culture that told you self-care was a performance.
You don't need more discipline. You need somewhere that gives back to you instead of taking more.
That's what we hold space for at Samsara. 🤍
If you’ve been thinking about it for weeks. Maybe months.
It’s been sitting there in the back of your mind, between the school pickups and the work deadlines and the hundred other things that feel more urgent.
There's no perfect moment. There's just this one, which is already more than enough.

July's word is ROUTINE. And before you close this because you've heard it a hundred times, hear us out.
We don't mean optimised. We don't mean tracked, timed or perfectly balanced.
We mean the Tuesday class you look forward to. The ten minutes that belong only to you. The small choice, made again, that tells your nervous system: I haven't forgotten about you.
Routine isn't discipline. It's a conversation with your own body.
This month, we're inviting you to find yours, whatever that honestly looks like right now.

One class a week doesn’t sound like much.
But here’s what one class a week actually looks like over a year.
52 classes. 52 hours that were entirely yours. 52 times you chose yourself over everything else that was competing for your time and energy.
That’s not nothing. That’s a habit. That’s a practice. That’s a version of yourself you built one quiet hour at a time.
You don't need to be here every day. You just need one hour, once a week, in a space that's completely yours.
Start there. See what 52 feels like.🤍

Consistency doesn’t look the same for everyone.
For some women it’s four times a week. For others it’s once, squeezed between everything else life is asking of them right now.
Both of those women are consistent. Both of them are showing up for themselves.
The version of consistency that actually sticks isn’t about perfect attendance or unbroken streaks. It’s about finding a rhythm that fits your real life, not your ideal one. And then protecting it, even when things get busy.
Missing a week doesn’t mean starting over. Coming back after a gap doesn’t mean you failed. It means you’re still in it. And that’s the whole point.
The woman who keeps coming back isn't chasing a result. She's answering something.
That's what we're here for. 🤍

One of the things we hear from new members is “I never know which class to choose.”
So we made it simple, start with how you’re feeling today. Not how you think you should feel.
Swipe through and let your mood do the picking.
Save this one for the next time!
The one with the unpredictable weeks, the 6am that sometimes happens and sometimes really doesn’t, the Tuesday that gets away from you before you’ve even had lunch.
Samsara has 24hr access because we know your life doesn’t run on a fixed schedule. Come before the school run. Come when the kids are at school. Come when the day has finally finished with you.
No pressure to be consistent in a way that doesn’t actually fit. Just a warm space that's here whenever you are. 🤍
