Australian Pickleball Championships done and dusted! 🏓🇦🇺

5 events. A whole lot of pickleball. 😂

Mixed doubles, singles and men's doubles against some seriously good players from around the country.

The highlight was finishing with a 🥈 SILVER MEDAL in Men's Doubles! 🥈

Obviously you always want the gold, but I'm bloody proud to walk away from the Australian Championships with some silverware.

More than anything, weeks like this remind me why I love this game so much. Competing, learning, being challenged and finding the little things I can take back onto the court and into my coaching.

That's what Pivot Point Coaching is all about.

Keep learning. Keep improving. Keep showing up.

And now... my body would like a word with whoever decided playing 5 events was a good idea. 😂🏓

Australian Pickleball Championships starting today! 😃🏓
My first event is tomorrow, playing Split Age Mixed Doubles with Yukino Horiuchi. For anyone wondering, split age means one player is under 50 and one is over 50.

Thursday evening I’ve got singles. I only play singles to push my body and keep my mind sharp. It’s a completely different game to doubles and an absolute grind 😂 Last year I managed to snag 3rd place, so let’s see what happens this year!

Friday is Split Age Men’s Doubles with Paul Martinovich.

Saturday is Men’s Doubles with Thomas.

And lastly... Sunday. Mixed Doubles with Danielle Klein. Last year we took out the top spot 🥇 so this year we’re coming back to defend our title!

What a beautiful day for another Pivot Point Social Series! 🏓☀️

We had some more new faces come along this time which is always awesome to see, plenty of great games, laughs and good vibes out on court.

This one was a little extra special for me too, with some of my family coming down from Brisbane. It was really nice being able to get them out on court and introduce them to the game that I love so much ❤️

This is exactly what I wanted the Social Series to be about. Bringing people together, introducing new people to pickleball and just having a bloody good time doing it!

Thanks to everyone who came along and made it another great day 🙌

Introducing my boys to the sport I love 🏓❤️

One of the best things about pickleball is that it really is a sport for everyone. So naturally, I had to get my boys out on the court and give it a go!

Safe to say... they're hooked! 😂

Watching them have fun, learn new skills, compete with each other and most importantly, laugh while they're doing it has been pretty awesome.

I love that pickleball gives us something we can all enjoy together, regardless of age or ability.
And who knows... maybe one day they'll be giving Dad a run for his money! 😜

This is exactly why I love this sport.
Get out there, grab a paddle and give it a go. You might just find your new favourite sport. 🏓

I CANNOT WAIT to play in this year's Australian Pickleball Championships!! 🏓🔥
Last year's APC was absolutely amazing. A whole week of playing, competing, learning and being surrounded by such an incredible pickleball community. It's hard to beat that atmosphere!

Last year I was lucky enough to come away with 🥉 Bronze in Men's Singles and 🥇 Gold in Mixed Doubles with my amazing partner Danielle Klein 🏆
This year I'm heading back hungry for more! 😤

The goal is to compete hard, enjoy every moment and hopefully add a few more medals to the collection.
But honestly, that's only part of what makes APC so special. It's the people, the friendships, the competition and the shared love of this crazy little sport that keeps me coming back.
Can't wait to see everyone there! 🏓❤️

Such a great hit for our Pivot Point Social Series. Coach took out the number 1 spot this time. With a smaller group I was able to take more time to discuss the tactical side of pickleball which I love.
Can't wait for next month's event on the 19th of July!
