What an incredible achievement for our Caloundra Sharks, finishing 2nd in The Courier-Mail’s Top 100 Footy Clubs in Queensland of 2026!

After a historic season, bringing home the A Grade, Reserve Grade and U19 premierships, alongside an undefeated U19 campaign, this recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication and commitment shown across our entire club.

From our players and coaches to our volunteers, supporters, sponsors and everyone behind the scenes, this achievement belongs to all of you.

A massive weekend for the Coastal Rays, crowned champions in Townsville with two of our own Caloundra Sharks seniors Jackson Herbert & Corey Davis playing a part in the premiership win!

HARVEY NORMAN UNDER 19s PLAYER OF THE YEAR 🏆

A huge congratulations to our very own Ace Po***ck on being named the Harvey Norman Under 19s Player of the Year!

Ace’s journey in rugby league began right here with the Caloundra Sharks Juniors, now making her way through the ranks, representing the Sunshine Coast Falcons in the Harvey Norman U19s and the BMD Women’s Premiership side.

From pulling on the jersey as a junior to now being recognised as the Under 19s Player of the Year through out the entire Harvey Norman U19s competition. This is such a well-deserved recognition of the hard work, dedication and talent Ace has shown throughout the 2026 season.

Congratulations Ace, your sharks family is incredibly proud of you! 💛🖤

A SEASON TO REMEMBER 🏆

A special look back at the 2026 SCGRL Awards Night and a season that will be remembered for years to come…

From our A Grade, Reserve Grade and U19 premierships, to our A Grade and U19 Presidents Cups, an undefeated U19 season and an U19 Minor Premiership. It was a year full of incredible moments and achievements.

A huge congratulations to Rylee Long on being named the SCGRL Reserve Grade Best & Fairest, and to our entire senior club on being crowned SCGRL Club Champions for the third consecutive year.

And the success didn’t stop there! Our Caloundra Sharks Juniors were also crowned club champions, making it an incredibly special achievement for our entire club from juniors through to seniors.

Behind every achievement is a group of players, coaches, volunteers, sponsors, families and supporters who give so much to the sharks. These moments are a reflection of the people who continue to make this club what it is.

What a season. What a club. What a year to be a Shark !! 🦈

From Under 7s to a Jersey Flegg Grand Final 🖤💛

This Saturday, two sharkies who have grown up together at the Caloundra Sharks will take the field together for their Jersey Flegg Cup Grand Final.

Chase Paterson and Jayden Smith first played together as Under 7s at the Caloundra Sharks and now at 21 years old, they’re still side by side. This time in the back row for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs in the Jersey Flegg Cup Grand Final.

From junior & senior footy at Caloundra to a Jersey Flegg Grand Final, what a journey it’s been for these two men! A fantastic story of mateship, development and the lifelong connections built through rugby league.

The Jersey Flegg Cup Grand Final will be played this Saturday at 5:00pm at CommBank Stadium, Parramatta, Sydney.

For those unable to attend, the match will be available to watch live via BarTV Sports with a paid subscription.
