The more we fight fear, the more power we can unintentionally give it. Learning to acknowledge fear, rather than resist it, can help us move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Knowing what to do doesn't mean you'll automatically do it.
Pickleball has been giving me a very good reminder of this lately!
I've been working on changing a movement I'd repeated for around 18 months.
I know what I'm supposed to do. I can see what needs changing. And sometimes I get it exactly right.
Then the old movement sneaks straight back in. ๐ซ
It's a great reminder that change can be messy.
Whether we're changing a sporting movement, a habit or a behaviour, there's often a period between knowing and consistently doing.
It doesn't necessarily mean you're failing.
You may simply be in the messy stage of implementation.
So, what are you trying to change at the moment that you already KNOW how to do?

Ever wondered why you procrastinate or don't do what you should?
There is a reason for this and it's something that lies beneath the surface.
It's your Invisible Patterns that are still operating in your life.
Invisible Patterns are your beliefs, emotions and deeply ingrained ways of thinking, which quietly influence what you do, often without you even realising it.
Until you become aware of what's really driving your behaviour, it's easy to keep repeating the same old cycles.
Awareness is the first step. If you are ready to take the first step, check out my complimentary mini-course:

You might tell yourself you're a procrastinator, you're too busy, or you're simply not someone who follows through consistently.

Stress Doesn't Always Look Like Stress
Have you ever noticed that when you're stressed, it doesn't always show up as "I'm stressed"?
Sometimes it looks more like procrastinating, avoiding something, overthinking, becoming impatient or reacting more strongly than usual.
Rather than judging yourself for the behaviour, try getting curious:
What's actually going on underneath this?
What are you feeling?
What triggered it?
Is there a familiar pattern playing out?
Because often the behaviour we want to change is only the part we can see.
If you'd like some help uncovering the Invisible Patterns influencing your own behaviour, you can access my complimentary mini-course:

๐ก Focus isnโt a willpower problem โ itโs a brain problem
We live in a world of constant distractions, notifications and competing demands for our attention.
And every time we switch our attention, it becomes harder to stay focused on what really matters.
If you've been feeling distracted, inconsistent or mentally drained, trying harder isn't necessarily the answer.
It starts with understanding what's really driving your behaviour, and becoming aware of the Invisible Patterns that may be influencing the way you think, feel and act.
From there, you can begin building new habits and behaviours aligned with what you actually want.
Awareness creates choice. Choice opens the door to change.
This is the work I do every day.
If you're ready to understand what's getting in the way and create a different way forward, let's talk.
