Our juniors had the best time launching the program with Rhiannon Pearce MP

📱➡️⚽️ Time to get kids off their screens and trying something new!

But I know there’s nothing worse than spending a small fortune getting your kid set up for a new sport… only for them to decide they hate it 😂

So in the upcoming holidays, kids aged 3–16 can try a new sport or activity for FREE through Growing for Gold.

Give it a go. Make some friends. Find something they love. 🥰

Our PLWs quarter final against a spirited Forestville HC tested our resolve, but by being patient and building slowly but surely, we were able to put together a match winning performance. We came away as deserved 2-nil winners thanks to a pair of goals from the teams top scorer, Sherilyn (Shorty) Cass. (30/8/2026)

Our M1M Quarter Final game versus Woodville HC proved that if you focus on the game and keep your heads you will succeed. The game had its ups and downs and although it was very much a team game, it was Paddy Sutherland who reigned supreme in the goal scoring stakes, taking the honours with all three of our goals and in doing so getting us over the line with a 3-2 victory. Our M1W Quarter Final match against Adelaide Uni HC was most definitely a game of two halves! In the first, two opposition goals saw us on the backfoot. However, two quick goals at the start of the third quarter followed by another two quick goals at the start of the fourth thanks to Dale Barnes (2), Kiera Herbst and Caitlin Sleeman put us in the drivers seat and now for the semis. Our U16B put up a tremendous battle in their semi-final clash against Burnside HC and came away in this nail-biting game as 3-2 victors thanks to two goals from Fletcher Rieck and one off the stick of Henry Tassell. (30/8/2026)

Four teams are playing at the Pines today! Our U16 boys kick things off at 10:15 AM — come down, support the teams and get around a big day of finals hockey! 🏑🔥

Congratulations to Patrick Sutherland who plays his 150th Premier League game today.

Patrick debuted in 2010, is a Premier League premiership player, and a member of the 2024 men’s team of the decade.

Patrick’s level of commitment to the men’s program is extrodinary - Pat has played across both men’s teams consistently for the past 17 years, and more recently taken on the role of coaching our M1M. Pat’s work rate, guenuine care and love for his club capture the fantastic teammate and coach that Pat is.
