Week 15 | Built for Autonomy

The future doesn’t arrive overnight, it starts with building for it.

In 2019, Hayes Spraying designed a lightweight autonomous sprayer specifically for the SwarmFarm robotic platform. Before autonomous farming became a major focus across the industry, we were already building practical solutions for Australian growers.

As SwarmFarm Co Founder Andrew Bate summed it up, “We partnered with Hayes to co-developed the first tow-behind SwarmConnect sprayers for autonomous farming and together we have delivered one of the most robust and innovative solutions for the Australian market.”

Week 14 | Spotting the Future

The next breakthrough started with seeing weeds differently.

In 2017, Hayes Spraying introduced a new range of sprayers purpose-built for WEED-IT precision spot spraying. Long before precision spraying became mainstream, we were designing machinery to work seamlessly with emerging technology and help farmers spray smarter.

Week 13 | Spreading the Future

The next step forward started with greater accuracy.
In 2016, Hayes Spraying built Australia’s first high capacity, accurate air-driven fertiliser spreader. Designed to deliver consistent application at scale, it was another milestone in building practical equipment that works season after season.
