As we get closer to The 2026 Bobs Bulk Booze Gordonvale Classic, we want to stop for a minute and recognise a group of businesses that have done something pretty bloody special.
They have BACKED OUR CLUB.
These aren’t just logos we’ve filled a sponsor board with. These are businesses — many of them local, family-owned and run by people from right here in Far North Queensland — who have put their hand up and said:

A genuine local Goldsborough business, Valley View Electrical and Data has been operating since 2021 and is another example of a small FNQ business getting behind local clubs and community organisations. Their community support has also extended to the Gordonvale Suns Junior AFL Club.

CNW is a 100% Australian-owned and operated, family-owned electrical wholesaler whose history goes all the way back to 1952. They supply everything from cable, lighting and switchgear through to air conditioning, data, smoke alarms and electrical hardware through their national branch network.

Bryant’s are a locally owned butcher supplying a huge range of quality meat, with plenty of their own creations coming across the counter as well. Offering quality meat alongside freshly ground barista coffee — and judging by their brisket, cheese and gravy pies, they aren’t scared to get creative either!

This crew covers some seriously impressive ground — above AND below the water.
Tailored Marine Solutions provides commercial diving, marine construction, vessel support, underwater inspection, salvage, wharf and jetty work and other specialist marine services.
Their sister operation, Tailored Spatial Solutions, works with drone mapping, LiDAR, photogrammetry, thermal imaging, 3D scanning, hydrographic surveying and underwater robotic inspections across Cairns and wider FNQ.
That is some serious capability sitting right here in Cairns.

🏠 Strategic Builders
Strategic Builders is a Cairns-based construction company established in 2005, delivering residential and commercial projects throughout Far North Queensland, including experience across Cape York and the Torres Strait. Their work also includes government assets, housing and remote projects where logistics can be every bit as challenging as the build itself.
They’ve built a strong business over more than two decades — and now they’re helping us build the Gordonvale Classic.

🚜 GBR Earthworx
Another one from our own backyard.
GBR Earthworx is a family-owned Goldsborough earthworks business offering wet and dry hire, excavation, site clearing and preparation, material haulage and operator hire. Their equipment includes a 5.5-tonne Kobelco excavator and tandem tipper.
This is exactly the sort of business we love having behind the club — local people supporting a local event.

⚓ BME NQ
BME NQ are one of Cairns’ serious marine fabrication operators.
Based in Portsmith, they specialise in marine welding, custom fabrication, commercial vessel construction and repairs, machining and waterjet cutting, operating from a 2,000m² facility. Their work extends into commercial marine projects as well as government, Defence and border-protection vessel work.
These guys literally build and repair the sort of gear that keeps North Queensland on the water.

Instant Alloy Scaffolding has a pretty impressive FNQ story. The business was established to help with the rebuilding of Far North Queensland following Cyclone Larry in 2006.
