Team member Ernie received his Certificate for recently setting a new NSW 25m shortcourse backstroke record.

Fun morning at Mel’s pottery studio. Mel is part of our team & welcomed us to a very informative session at her fantastic studio. This was an alternate activity to our usual Sunday morning swim/race session as the pool was unavailable. Great fun, great company & great information

Fred has advised the Maitland Merlots received the club awards that were presented last night.
Trophy for winning division 2 and certificates for most points, highest average and biggest % increase in members.

At the State Long Course comp in Sydney this weekend Gail won 3 gold and 2 silver, Naomi 2 silver and 1 bronze and Benny 2 bronze. We came 6th in the mixed medley relay. Paul and Fred didn't medal, although Fred swam 2 PB's, taking 8 seconds off his 200m breaststroke time - thanks to Benny's work on his kicking.
