Our teams had a great day at the Wyong Netball Carnival with two senior teams in Division 4! 🏐

Players from across the club and friends from the netball community joined us in a day of competition, laughs and fun 😄

Our Young Hearts and Run Free teams were greatly supported by Charlie and Ellie as umpires 🤩

The best game was when we played each other - a close game with many laughs, incredible shooting and intercepts!

In the end, Young Hearts were victorious and went on to take 3rd place in the division, and Run Free coming 7th 🥳

A huge thank you to Hannah Copland for organising and to Rowena Trezise and Ellen Suarez for managing the teams on the day!

Our annual fundraising BBQ was a fantastic day, and it simply wouldn’t happen without the amazing people who give their time and energy to make it all come together.

A massive thank you to all the parents, partners and players who volunteered their time, jumped in to help and kept things running throughout the day. Your willingness to lend a hand is so appreciated and makes such a difference to our club.

A big thank you also to everyone who baked something for our bake sale. We were absolutely spoiled with all the delicious goodies! 🧁🍰

And a special thank you to Hannah, who put so much care into preparing and beautifully presenting our raffle prizes. They looked amazing! 🎁

Finally, to our wonderful committee! Thank you. From the planning and preparation, arriving at 7am, working throughout the day and still being there for pack down at the end… your commitment to our club does not go unnoticed. 💙💛

It takes a whole community to make days like this happen, and we are so grateful to everyone who played a part. Thank you for continuing to show up, pitch in and make WNNC such a great club to be part of.

Our WNNC BBQ is just around the corner! Like everything we do, this BBQ is run by volunteers and we need your help! 💙💛

Alan from Brain Power Trivia is hosting a Kids Music Bingo at Hawkesbury Brewery on Saturday 11th July from 6:00 pm !

Alan hosted our amazing trivia night and is extending this invitation to all the families in our community!

It's completely free to play, with lots of great prizes for the kids, plus plenty of delicious food and drinks available from the brewery.

The idea is that the adults can relax and enjoy a drink while the kids are entertained with music videos on the big screen.

Expect songs from Taylor Swift, The Wiggles, Bluey, Ed Sheeran, K-pop Demon Hunters, Moana, Frozen, Disney favourites, and plenty more!

Feel free to bring the whole family, and any friends who might enjoy it too!

Please Note: Hawkesbury Brewery doesn't take table bookings, and they're expecting it to be a very busy night, so l'd recommend arriving a little early to grab a table.

💙 WNNC Reminder 💛

As we move through the season, we’d like to remind all players, coaches, officials, and spectators of the importance of positive sportsmanship and respect on and off the court.

✅ Respect our umpires – they play a vital role in our game and deserve to be treated with courtesy at all times, regardless of whether you agree with a decision.

✅ Support positive sporting behaviour – netball is at its best when players compete hard while showing respect for teammates, opponents, officials, and volunteers.

✅ Lead by example – players, coaches, and spectators all contribute to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.

If your team experiences unsportsmanlike behaviour from another team, please do not engage or escalate the situation. Instead:

1. Speak with your Team Manager.
2. The Team Manager should provide a written account of what occurred.
3. The Team Manager can email the details to Renee (secretary) and Heather (president)
4. We will raise the matter with GNA so they are aware and can monitor any ongoing concerns.

Our goal is to ensure that all WNNC players can enjoy their netball in a positive, respectful, and supportive environment.

If any issues do arise, please contact our members protection officer, Andrea Suarez, or talk to your team manager about the best next steps.
