1️⃣ What is your greyhound’s kennel name?
“Charlie”
2️⃣ How many starts did they have, and what was their biggest racing achievement?
He had 20 wins, 11 seconds, 18 thirds and 67 starts.
His biggest achievement was 2nd in the G2 Maitland Gold Cup.
3️⃣ What are your favourite memories from their racing career?
Our favourite memory was his and my first win at Wentworth Park.
4️⃣ Did he have any funny or unique quirks at the track?
He was all about the business.
5️⃣ What do you think they loved most about racing?
He loved to compete against other dogs and himself
6️⃣ What was the first day at home like?
From the moment he was born, instantly stood out from the rest of the litter.
7️⃣ Did he settle into retirement straight away, or did he take some time to adjust?
It’s taken a lot of time for him to adjust, he still wants to go in the van now to go racing.
8️⃣ What surprised you most about them once they retired?
Because of his injuries he knew that if we raced him any longer he would’ve hurt himself.
9️⃣ What’s a typical day like for your retired grey?
He spends hours in the sun and runs the yards and kennels.
🔟 What are his favourite things to do now?
Eat, sleep and boss everyone around.

Grabs your hand to fight back and has his favourite blanket.
1️⃣2️⃣ What’s his favourite treat or toy?
Chicken wings.
1️⃣3️⃣ Does he have any furry friends or other pets at home?
He is very social with the ladies and his mum visits him sometimes.
1️⃣4️⃣ What would be the best piece of advice you could give anyone either looking to or convincing them to adopt a greyhound?
They are the most beautiful, loyal and laid back dog you can get. We still have his mother and two of his half sisters.
