Sadly the ladies didnโt get a win this week, but the highlight of the game was Bec scoring an absolute amazing goal! This is Becโs first year playing soccer and she gives it everything she has each week and has improved substantially since she started this season. A massive congratulations goes to Justin for a truly phenomenal display between the sticks. Putting on an absolute masterclass in goalkeeping, Justin produced a string of breathtaking, point-blank reflex stops and outreageous saves. His heroic presence under relentless pressure repeatedly denied the opposition and kept the Strikers firmly in the contest for the bulk of the match.

Last weekend saw the Strikers locked in a fierce, high-stakes, top-of-the-table clash against Marulan under the lights at Cookbundoon.
The Strikers struck first in the 16th minute courtesy of some sublime link-up play between Benjamin Hartin and Brody Willis. Brody expertly rounded the Marulan keeper and tucked it away to make it 1-0. Daly's heroics in goal preserved that hard-fought lead for most of the contest before the match took a dramatic turn late in the second half.
Marulan were awarded a penalty for a handball, which Daniel Aliffi converted to level the score. In the dying minutes of the match, another handball gave Marulan a dangerous free kick just outside the area; Aliffi stepped up once more to curl the ball over the wall and past the keeper, sealing a heartbreaking 1-2 defeat for the Strikers despite a valiant performance.

The Strikers AAM faced a fiercely contested away clash at Lin Cooper Fields against a gritty Crookwell side. The first half proved to be an arm-wrestle; despite carving out a few promising half-chances, the Strikers went into the break deadlocked at 0-0.
The breakthrough finally came midway through the second half via a moment of pure magic, as Jose Calle unleashed a spectacular, curling strike off the outside of his boot to put the visitors ahead. With 10 minutes left, Benjamin Hartin was brought down in the box after some quick feet, calmly stepping up to slot home the subsequent penalty and seal a hard-fought 2โ0 victory on the road!

Today our ladies only had 10 due to injuries and players away. A special mention and a massive thank you to coach Courtney Wallace who stepped into goals so they werenโt paying with 9! The ladies played extremely well today, low on numbers and a couple injuries during the game too and yet they still went away with a 4-0 win, 2 goals by Sam Hartin and 2 by Chloe Jeffrey. Well done team!

It was a tough day at the office with only 11 players available, meaning no subs and several players pushing through injuries. To top it off, our goalie sustained a sprained wrist, and despite everyone giving their all, it just wasn't our week as we went down 0-7 to the Goulburn Foxes.
Through all the adversity, Kiana and Shan put in a massive shift and showed true grit in a difficult match!
