Well that was lucky.
Last round we did not finish the round as Tj had to catch a plane for work but when we got it home an we replacing a dead starter we found we had broken the rear engine mount bracket and took a chunk of the block somehow. Maybe Our little K20 BYP TUNED has some punch👌🏻🤣😂
So out the motor came and got it all welded up and the boys have just put it back in the car.
Thanks to BAB fabricating for the repair. I like Beer economy 🍻
New mount from and we’re good.
Just finish the harness and rad and shafts and we are back to where we were.

First round of the
improved production championship for 2026 at SMSP.
As TJ Has work commitments we could not do the complete round.
A great field of 30 cars lead to some great battles.

Saturday
Qualy did great put it on 7th outright and 3rd in class even got very crossed up drifting in turn 1 but kept his foot in it and kept it on the black stuff.😳

Saturday Race 1 starting P7
solid drive keeping spot awesome battle with the big V8 of Greg Young in his R8.
Came home in P7 overall and 3 rd in class

Sunday’s race 2 starting P7 and our last for the round.
Starter motor decided to stop working so a bump start to the grid was in order
Horrible start loosing 5 spots but quickly got the revs up on our little K.
By exit turn 2 was back in 7 and right behind the big red commodore.
Great battle to watch with them changing positions nearly every lap with the V8 charging down the straight.
Last lap went on the loose stuff turn 2 and dropped a couple more spots. All good came across the line in 10 over all and 5th in class for that race andnour weekend
With Tj on a plane so our No2 Mechanic is on the case got the car home and Ethan got stuck in getting the starter motor out while was the tool handler. He tried from the bottom but the top was the way but a bit more to
Remove.
Still good fun. 🤙🏻

2025 has come and gone and the team had a great year with heaps of smiles great progress and loads of learning.

Last night we had the IPRA NSW - Improved Production Racing Association NSW presentation night. Was a great night and congrats to the club for an awesome season of racing and to the committee for their efforts through the year.👏👏
Congrats to all the trophy winners and to and Scott tutton for outright champions for unders and overs
TJ took home then rookie of the year awards as our changes of class half way through the year took us out of running. But we made great progress with the 772 and more for next year to come.
