Geoffrey Meredith - the man who won the Australian Grand Prix in 1927 in Goulburn. Geoff Meredith won the 2nd heat in a Type 30 Bugatti, ahead of Hope Bartlett and then won in the final against Jack O'Rourke. All drove beautiful Bugattis. Meredith was a local grazier and well known in the Goulburn district.

Celebration in Goulburn 15 - 18 January 2027.

The inaugural Braidwood Big Wheels Festival is being held on Saturday 10 October at the Braidwood Showground. They are looking for trucks, cars and bikes to enter in the various competitions. For cars the classes are currently: Best Vintage (pre-1960); Best Classic; Best Modified; Best in Show; and People’s Choice. Entry fee $20.
