Attention members and visitors. It has been brought to the club's attention from our neighbour that players who drive their private buggies and cars down Brooks Street are accessing private property to enter the course. Please use the gate (circled on the right) to access the course. If the gate is closed, please open the gate then close it once you have entered, or alternatively please drive around to the top car park to access the course. We will be putting up signs and temporary fencing until the area circled on the left is fitted with some wire to close off this access.

On Sunday 13th Sep-26 the club hosted a 4 Ball Aggregate Stableford event in great weather conditions. The event winners with an excellent score of 75 stableford points were Terry Galvin & Ray Bianchi (photo 1). Runner-ups with 70 points were Jim Cuthbertson & Bill Dreier.

The above winners were followed in the rundown by John Sharpe & Phil Jackson 69, Greg Rogers & Dave Bailey 69 and Brian Egan & Angus Young 68.

The Pin Shot winners were:-
No 7 - Michael Pokarier 1.17mts
No 16 - Phil Slade 1.55mts
No 18 - Clay Cini 5.8mts
Captain’s Shot No 9 - Cres Bulger 3.37mts

On Sunday 6th Sep-26 the club hosted a Monthly Medal Event which was played in great weather conditions. The medal winners are as follows:
A Division - Peter Seierup 70 nett (photo 1)
B Division - Phil Jones 65 nett (photo 2)
C Division - Shane Riddiford 68 nett (photo 3)

The above winners were followed in the rundown by Robbie Willson 71, Josh Slater 71, Peter Bianchi 73, Bill Dreier 73, Matt Fields 74, Phil Jackson 74, Ash Mosedale 75, Kobi Dawson 75 and Lee Edgecock 75.

A massive congratulations to both Thomas and Dustin on your day at the 2026 Emu Park Junior Open. Dustin took out 13 hole boys Nett Winner and Thomas took out C Grade boys Gross Runner up. The sportsmanship you have both displayed was exceptional. Well done to you both.

The club would sincerely like to thank the fifteen volunteer workers who rolled up their sleeves yesterday (Monday 31st Aug-26) to carry out the annual coring and treatment of all greens. A job well done fellas, and I’m sure greatly appreciated by all fellow golfers. Cheers. (CB).

On Sunday 30th Aug-26 the club hosted a Single Par Event in which 31 players competed. The event winner with an excellent score of +5 was Shelly Slade (photo 1). Runner-up on a count back between six players with scores of +2 was Phil Jackson (photo 2).

Following the above winners in the rundown were Dan Dawson, Phil Slade, Ash Mosedale, Bec Kennedy and Guy Vandreumel who all carded +2 scores.

Due to issues regarding our Last Friday of the month BBQ's, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel this month's event. We are hoping to be back in full swing next month. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and we hope to see you all at the end of September.
