🌟 What a Weekend for Showjumping in the Clarence Valley

We are so proud of our event — what a fantastic weekend of showjumping in the Clarence Valley, truly a showcase of the sport at its best.

The courses were fabulous, the going was spot‑on with the new surface, and the atmosphere around the grounds was nothing short of brilliant. Everywhere you looked, there were amazing people pitching in — some for a moment, some for the whole day — and every bit of help made a difference. Thank you to each and every person who supported the weekend.

The sport, the horses, and the community all shone.

A full report is on its way, but for now, a huge congratulations to all riders and heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the weekend such a success.

Sunshine Sugar – Sponsor of the 1.10 m Open Class
A huge thank you to Sunshine Sugar for their ongoing commitment to our events and for sponsoring not only the 1.10 m Open Class, but also showcasing the incredible network of businesses that make up their organisation.

Sunshine Sugar is proudly Australian‑owned through a partnership between the grower‑owned NSW Sugar Milling Co‑operative and the Australian family‑owned Manildra Group. The Co‑operative represents around 500 cane farming families across the Northern Rivers, while the Manildra Group is a long‑standing NSW agribusiness owned and operated by the Honan family.

Sunshine Sugar owns and operates mills at Harwood, Broadwater and Condong, along with a refinery co‑located at Harwood. Their Broadwater Mill even powers the town of Broadwater, reflecting their commitment to local communities and sustainable energy.

Sustainability sits at the heart of the NSW sugar industry — balancing environmental responsibility, economic viability and long‑term resilience. Sunshine Sugar supports farming practices that protect soil health, water quality and biodiversity, while ensuring productive, profitable agriculture for future generations. They encourage growers to uphold this reputation by participating in the Bonsucro Sustainability Certification process.

We are grateful for Sunshine Sugar’s continued support of our riders and our Valley & Rivers Spring Showjumping community.

North Coast Stockfeeds– Sponsor of the 1.00 m Open Class
A huge thank you to Nathan and Natalie Johnston from North Coast Stock Feeds for their ongoing commitment to our events. Nathan and his daughter Olivia are regular competitors at our shows, travelling widely and supporting many events across the region — we’re very lucky to have them as part of our Valley & Rivers community.

Family owned and operated for more than 20 years, North Coast Stock Feeds has become a trusted name in the Northern Rivers, helping locals care for their animals with confidence. Based in Ballina, their team combines hands‑on equine experience with a wide product range of premium feeds, veterinary supplies and everyday pet essentials.

Customers value not only their quality products, but also the genuine advice and friendly service that make North Coast Stock Feeds a reliable one‑stop shop for horse owners, farmers, pet lovers and poultry keepers.

We’re grateful for their support of the 1.00 m Open Class at this year’s Valley & Rivers Spring Showjumping.
