🐾 Coming next week – AWC Final course in the arena! 🌍🏆

Ever wondered what skills it takes to tackle a course at the Agility World Championships (AWC)? Well, here's your chance to find out! 😎

Next week's setup will feature the Individual Agility Final from this year's AWC, designed by Michiel Lazeroms, with a few minor adjustments to suit the arena!

Whether you want to challenge yourself with the full course or just have a go at some of the sequences, this is a great opportunity to test your skills on a world championship course. 🐕💨

📅 Monday 19 October (midday) – Monday 2 November

A little advance notice this time so you can start planning your training! 😊

Who's up for the challenge? 💪

🐾 EOI – Linda’s Agility Arena Wall of Fame 💜

I'm looking at giving Linda’s Agility Arena a bit of a makeover and bringing some life to those big arena walls!

One idea is to create a Wall of Fame featuring the dogs who train at Linda’s — with individual A0 laminated action photos, each including the dog’s name and achievements/titles. 🏆

Before we start organising anything, we’d love to know who would be interested in having their dog included.

📸 You would provide a high-resolution action photo of your dog, along with the achievements you’d like displayed.

💜 The cost would be approximately $50 per photo. As a thank you for contributing to our Wall of Fame, you would receive arena hire time to use at a time of your choice! 🐾

At this stage, this is just an EOI while we work out the final printing and laminating costs and how many dogs we might have.

It could be pretty special to see the arena walls filled with the dogs who train, compete and achieve there — from those just starting their journey to our seasoned competitors. 💜

Who would like their dog on the arena's Wall of Fame? 🐾🏆

🐾 New setup in the arena!

This time I’ve brought back the Novice seminar course by Enya Habel from when she came to teach at the arena in 2024. 😊

📅 The course will be up from 6–19 October.

A little throwback to a great seminar and a fun course to revisit! Arena members can find the course map in the members group and at the arena.

Have fun and happy training! 🐶💨

🇩🇪 ANNA HINZE IS COMING TO AUSTRALIA! 🇦🇺
3-Day Agility Workshop at Linda’s Agility Arena!

📅 Two possible dates
22–24 October 2027
OR
29–31 October 2027
Final dates to be confirmed.

Meet Anna Hinze 🐾
Anna has been involved in dog sports since 2003 and is one of Germany’s most successful agility handlers and coaches.
Competing with her Sheltie, Move, she recently won Gold in the WAO Biathlon and Silver in the WAO Pentathlon. She is also currently competing with her young Border Collie, Fuze.
What makes Anna’s coaching particularly special is her background in Psychology and Educational Science. She combines this knowledge with her extensive agility experience to break down complex handling and training skills into clear, systematic, achievable steps.

Anna’s training philosophy puts safety, ethical training and dog wellbeing first, with a strong emphasis on the partnership between dog and handler — without compromising competitive performance at the highest level.
Save the date! 📣
We are thrilled to have Anna joining us at Linda’s Agility Arena for three days of learning, training and inspiration.
Mark your calendars and keep an eye on this page! More details, including confirmed dates and booking information, will follow.
Who would love to join us? 🙋‍♀️🐕

The white numbers are on the floor this week, and next week I’ll swap them over to one of the other colours for a bit of variety. All three course maps will be available at the arena though, so you can train whichever course you prefer. 😊
