Today the GCP little ones had the pleasure of visiting the Griffith War Memorial Museum 🤍
A huge shoutout and thank you to Michael and Sean from Griffith RSL Sub Branch and Griffith War Memorial Museum INC for generously allowing our children to attend this meaningful experience.
Excursions like this play such an important role in helping children begin to understand the history and significance behind ANZAC Day. Through hands-on learning and real world connections, they are able to explore concepts of remembrance, respect, and community in an age appropriate way.
Experiences like this also strengthen our connection to the local community, showing children the importance of community involvement and how we all play a role in remembering and honouring the past together.
Supporting children to develop a sense of identity, connection to their world, and an understanding of Australia’s history and cultural heritage.
We are so proud of our little learners for the curiosity and respect they showed today 🌿

✨ Celebrating 10 Years of Ashton at GCP ✨
Today we are celebrating an incredible milestone - 10 amazing years of Ashton being part of the GCP family 💐
🤍
Ashton began her journey with us 10 years ago as a school-based trainee, and what a journey it has been! Over the years, we have had the absolute privilege of watching her grow, learn, and flourish into the passionate and dedicated educator she is today. From completing her Certificate III, moving on to her Diploma, and now achieving her Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, Ashton’s commitment to her profession and to the children in her care has been nothing short of inspiring.
We are so proud of the educator you have become and so amazed by the growth, confidence, and leadership you continue to show every day. Ashton has truly become one of our key room leader educators, making a lasting impact on our team, our children, and our families through her care, knowledge, and genuine love for early learning 🤍
Congratulations, Ashton, on 10 years at GCP! Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and the heart you bring into our centre each day. We are so grateful to have you as part of our GCP family and can’t wait to see all that the future holds for you!
Much love,
The GCP family xx
