BUILT FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE 🇺🇸🎾

Margaret Court Tennis Academy juniors Lara and Nicholas are now into their 10th week at the John Newcombe Tennis Academy in San Antonio, Texas.

With early morning starts, long days on court and an incredible training environment, our young players are gaining a real insight into what professional tennis looks like.

The Texas heat has certainly tested them, with temperatures reaching 46°C, before a drop to 36°C — another challenge for our young stars to embrace.

The experience, the training, the discipline and the friendships are all helping shape the next generation of players. They are loving their experience!

And now the excitement is building… next week, our Margaret Court Tennis Academy team will join Lara and Nicholas in Texas!

Our final meeting with our players and parents before we head to the John Newcombe Tennis Academy in San Antonio, Texas.

In just under two weeks, our Margaret Court Tennis Academy players will travel to one of the world’s great high-performance tennis academies.

The excitement is building, and our players are absolutely thrilled to have this incredible opportunity to train, compete, learn and challenge themselves in a world-class environment.

This is about so much more than tennis. It’s about stepping outside their comfort zone, embracing the challenge, learning from others and believing in what is possible.

🎾 MONDAY NIGHT SQUAD | SECOND SERVE TEST

Margaret Court Tennis Academy Monday Night Squad at our Academy Headquarters at the Wodonga Tennis Centre.

Tonight’s Singles Drill had players competing first to 5 points, rotating serves. The challenge? Only one serve allowed!

There’s an old saying in tennis:

“You are only as good as your second serve.”

So, let’s put our players’ second serves to the test! 🎾
