On Sunday East Belmont Saints celebrated the successful Season that was 2026 🏆🍾
With close to 200 members in attendance through the day, we celebrated Presentation Day with the club Junior Awards, Senior Awards and Club Awards with lunch and drinks on Saints 🍖🥗🍗🥤🍻
Congratulations to all our award winners, both off field and on field and Saints junior players all received Melbourne Aces junior packs.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone that helped out around the club over the last 12 months. From the off-season through to season end, Saints is very active and we thank everyone that gave their time for the club ❤️🤍🖤
We wish everyone a fun and safe Spring/Summer, we look forward to seeing everyone back at the club in 2027 ☀️🎊

Yesterday at Saints Presentation Day, we very proudly introduced our newest Life Membership to the Lynne Carter.

Lynne is the 35th Life Member inductee to the East Belmont Saints
Lynne joined Saints with her family in 1988 and has been a valued contributor to the club over all of the years since. Lynne served many years in the canteen, has sat on Saints Committee, has been the organiser for many tournament teams lunches for the Nationals and State Championships hosted at Saints. And has been our Thursday night dinner chef often feeding 50+ hungry mouths after training! Lynny and her family have opened their house (Hotel Carter!) to accommodate Saints players.
Lynne and the Carter family have been huge contributors and bigger supporters to the club both on and off the field.

East Belmont Saints Baseball Club thank Lynne Carter for all her work over many years and congratulate her as our latest Life Member 💐🎖️

Not what we had in mind! Unfortunately the results didn't go Saints way, despite the effort and fight from our teams with high standard games on a tough day to play baseball.

Congratulations Nicholas Zanghi playing game 1️⃣5️⃣0️⃣ for East Belmont Saints in tomorrow's 2nds Grand Final.
Nick started Saints U14s in 2013 and quickly became the spark in the team. Nick played his first Senior game in 2017 and made his A-grade debut in 2019.
Nick is a two time Premiership player in Saints 2nds in 2022 & 2023 and was 2nds Best Hitter in 2024 (ave .548).
Nick is a utility play comfortable anywhere in the field and most often at the top of the hitting lineup! In 2019, Nick was awarded Saints Appreciation Award.

Congratulations Saints' Chris Rickard, last night being awarded Life Membership to the Geelong Baseball Association.

Having started as a junior player in 1983, Senior player in 1985, GBA A-Grade MVP in 1990, GBA player representative and 18x Team Coach/EO, GBA Junior Registrar, GBA Board Member and GBA Service Award recipient.

Chris is the 4th recipient of East Belmont Saints to receive this honor, joining Michael O'Brien, Larry Meager and Phill Northfield.
Well done Chris on this proud achievement.
