The club also acknowledged all coaches, managers, trainers, leaguesafe and strappers, gameday volunteers, sponsors and the committee. Thank you to all of these people and businesses who helped keep the club alive this year and to the pub for hosting.

Urgent update:
We have just been informed by Group 19 that our reserve grade has lost more competition points for an unqualified player and, as a result, will no longer be participating in the minor semi final this Saturday.

This is a disappointing outcome for our players and the club in general, but we thank all those involved in the reserve grade campaign this year - our first reserve grade side in a decade.

Our club is saddened by the passing of former player Mervyn Torrens and send our condolences to his loved ones.

Merv’s funeral will be held next week and his family has asked for any past or present players to attend and wear their Super Spuds jerseys and form a guard of honour for Merv.

Next Saturday our reserves take on Tingha in the minor semi final at Glen Innes after finishing third in the regular season. The game is at 1pm. Gate entry is $10 for adults, $5 pensioners and under 16s free.
