🐍💛💙 MEET OUR 2027 MARINERS AMBASSADOR!

What a great afternoon at Central Coast Football’s Pluim Park today as the Central Coast Mariners Women took on a Central Coast Football Select side — and we came away with some pretty exciting news for the Cobras!

We’re thrilled to introduce Kiara De Domizio as the Gwandalan Summerland Point Football Club’s Mariners Women Ambassador for 2027! 💚🐍

The new ambassador program is all about creating a genuine connection between the Mariners Women and our local football clubs, and we’re really excited to see what that means for our Cobras throughout the 2027 season.

Kiara will become part of our wider Cobras family, with opportunities for club visits, events, clinics and plenty more still to be worked through with the Mariners. We’ll share all the details as they come together.

A special shout-out also goes to our little Cobra Izzy from U8s, who represented the club today and had an absolute ball taking part in the mini game! ⚽️💚

And there’s another great bonus for our players in 2027 — all registered players will have access to $16 tickets for Women’s Mariners games at Polytec Stadium throughout the season! 🙌

We love seeing the Mariners Women strengthening their connection with grassroots football on the Coast, and we can’t wait to welcome Kiara into the Cobras community.

🎉 What a season it’s been, Cobras family! 🎉
Our Seniors Presentation Night is just around the corner, and you won’t want to miss it!

🕔 Arrival: 5pm at Gwandalan Bowling Club
🍽️ Finger food & team presentations start from 6pm sharp
🏆 Perpetual trophies, all formalities wrapped up before 8pm then the night continues with live band!

It’s the perfect chance to celebrate our players, teams, and the incredible Cobras community — together, we’ve had a season to remember!

To make it easy and safe for everyone, the club’s courtesy bus will be running — so please book your arrival and departure times in advance, following the usual rules. 🚏🚌💨

🐍🏆 2026 COBRAS FINALS WRAP-UP 🏆🐍

And just like that, our 2026 season is officially wrapped up — and what a finals campaign it was for the Cobras! 💚❤️

Five of our competition teams made their mark at the pointy end of the season, bringing home a Minor Premiership, four Grand Final appearances and two Grand Final wins!

🥇 U12C – MINOR PREMIERS & SEMI-FINALISTS
A fantastic season saw our U12C’s finish top of the table as Minor Premiers. Their finals run unfortunately came to an end against The Entrance in the semi-final, but the improvement from this group across the year was huge and gives them plenty to build on heading into 2027.

🏆 U13C – GRAND FINAL WINNERS | 4–0
Our U13C’s finished their season in style with a huge 4–0 Grand Final victory over Southern Ettalong to become 2026 Grand Final Champions! An awesome achievement from this group and a brilliant way to finish their year. 🥇

🥈 U14D – GRAND FINALISTS | 1-2
The U14D’s came agonisingly close. After going 1–0 down early, they fought their way back and were leading with just two minutes remaining. Kincumber found a late equaliser to force extra time before a Golden Goal ultimately decided the Grand Final. A massive effort and a season they should be incredibly proud of.

🏆 MAA2 – MINOR PREMIERS & GRAND FINAL WINNERS | 2–1
What a comeback! Taking on Wyong in the Grand Final, our MAA2’s found themselves 1–0 down in the first half — but there was plenty of football still to play.

The boys powered their way back into the contest, turning the deficit around to claim a fantastic 2–1 victory and finish the season as 2026 Grand Final Champions! 🏆🔥

🥈 MAA4 – GRAND FINALISTS | 1–2
And what a battle from our MAA4’s against Killarney Vale. The Grand Final couldn’t be decided in regulation time, sending the game into extra time.

It remained on a knife-edge until Killarney Vale found the decisive goal in the second half of extra time, eventually taking the Grand Final 2–1.

Not the ending the boys wanted, but an incredible season from a pretty special group — fathers and sons, mates who have played together for years, and others who joined the group this season — all coming together and taking their campaign right through to a Grand Final. 👏

From Minor Premiers to Grand Finalists and Grand Final Champions, there has been plenty for the green, red and black to celebrate.

A massive congratulations to every player, coach and manager involved, and thank you to all the families, volunteers and supporters who backed our teams throughout the season and finals.

Five teams. Four Grand Finals. Two Grand Final wins. Two Minor Premierships. 💚❤️

Not a bad way to wrap up 2026.

🎉 What a season it’s been, Cobras family! 🎉
While our 2026 season on the field has wrapped up, we’re not done yet — one last celebration to thank everyone for the laughs, friendships, and skills learnt along the way!
🌟 GBC Foreshore is booked for our final party and presentation — and YOU’RE invited! 🌟

Here’s what’s happening for register junior players:
🧸 Jumping Castle (9am - 2pm, staffed)
🍿 Popcorn & Fairy Floss
⚽ Football Activation Activity
🌭 Sausage Sizzle for players ( and also available for purchase)

Plus, Gwandalan Bowling Club will be there providing the venue and:
🎨 Face Painter (10am - 2pm)
🎟️ Wristbands for kids (included in the presentation)
🤝 GBC staff on hand — proud sponsors and supporters!

The Foreshore Kiosk will also be open with coffee, milkshakes, toasties, cakes, and drinks — perfect for a summer day of fun!

🔥 What a way to start today’s MAA Grandfinals! 🔥
Our Men’s All Age 2 team fought their way to victory today — ending with a hard-fought 2-1 win in the grand final! 🐍⚽
They went down early, 1-0, after a slow start. But our Cobras didn’t give up. With relentless effort, winning battles all over the park, and some incredible saves keeping us in it, they turned it around.

And what a crowd! Faithful supporters were there every step of the way, celebrating this epic win. 🎉
