We love hearing positive feedback about our umpires!!!
"Just wanted to let you know we had Matilda umpire the 10/1s today and she was fantastic. Both Matilda and the Joeys umpire were extremely consistent and confident with their calls. No hesitation to blow the whistle and both were great with giving clear and precise instructions to the girls on court when they were out of play or had to bring the ball back down the court".
Well done Matilda!

Also a huge welcome back to Chloe and Siena D (Siena has not played since she was 9, where have u been hiding, my friend?)!!

We received some lovely feedback on one of our newest umpires on the weekend. Well done Tahlia and congrats on a fabulous start to your umpiring endeavours!
“Despite her seemingly young age, Tahlia carried herself exceptionally well throughout the entire game and demonstrated a level of confidence and composure well beyond her years.
She was clear, confident and consistent with her calls, and where needed, gave brief explanations so the girls understood the decisions being made. Her communication with the players was calm and respectful at all times, and she managed the game in a way that kept it flowing smoothly while still maintaining control.
What stood out most was the way she balanced being firm with being kind. She appeared fair and impartial throughout the entire game, which created such a positive environment for the girls to play in. As a parent watching from the sidelines, it was genuinely refreshing to see such mature and professional umpiring, particularly from someone so young.
She should be incredibly proud of herself. Young umpires like her are such an asset to the game, and I personally think she has a very bright future ahead of her if she continues on this path.”
