✨ CLIENT SPOTLIGHT - Katie ✨

Katie has spent the last few weeks travelling back and forth overseas for work, making it challenging to maintain her usual routine.

Now that she’s settled back in, she’s quickly found her rhythm again.
By staying consistent with her meals, tracking, and getting back into classes and 1 on 1 PT, her hard work has paid off with a fantastic 1.1kg weight loss after feeling stuck at the same weight for four weeks.

14 years 🙌

Today we celebrate Michele’s 14 year anniversary at Vision Gymea.

For 14 years, Michele has been a valued part of our community. Through all the different stages of life, she has continued to show up, look after her health, and be a familiar face around the studio.

Trying to eat more protein? Start with breakfast.

Most people wait until lunch or dinner to think about protein and then spend the rest of the day trying to catch up. Get ahead of it first thing.

These 4 options all hit 20g+ protein per serve, cost next to nothing, and take minutes to put together.

1. Chobani + frozen berries + 1 scoop protein
Probably the easiest meal on this list. Chobani is already a great protein source on its own plus if you add a scoop of protein, you’re well ahead before you’ve even left the house. Frozen berries add flavour without blowing your calories out.

2. Rolled oats + frozen berries + 1 scoop protein
Same concept, swap Chobani for oats. The difference here is you’re getting more carbohydrates, which matters if you’re training in the morning. More fuel, still high protein.

3. Country Split wholemeal + Eat Lean cheese + tomato
Two slices of bread, two slices of Eat Lean cheese, tomato. Open toastie style. Eat Lean cheese is the key ingredient here, it’s high protein, low fat, and actually tastes good. Most cheese is the opposite.

4. Country Split wholemeal + 2 eggs
Hard to argue with eggs. Two of them on wholemeal toast and you’re sorted. Just track your oil if you’re cooking with it… it adds up faster than most people realise and quietly wrecks an otherwise low cal meal.

One of the things I see consistently with people who get results is that their nutrition has a routine to it. Simple meals they repeat. Not 20 different recipes a fortnight.

Pick one of these. Repeat it. See how much easier hitting your protein becomes.

✨ COTW - Niki ✨

Huge shout out to Niki!

Niki joined Vision back in August last year and has since lost over 18kg.
She has been incredibly consistent with her training and tracking, and whilst still enjoying meals out on the weekends, she truly understands the importance of nutrition and how to balance it!

What an incredible achievement that is!

But what matters most is that Niki feels good in her own skin.
So many people have noticed her transformation, and her greatest supporter, husband Jim, said it best just the other day, “She’s the perfect woman.”

✨ CLIENT SPOTLIGHT - Kevin ✨

Kevin completed his 9 week Goal Session today and the results are a great reflection of his consistency.

At 72 years young, Kevin has lost 1kg of body fat while gaining 900g of muscle. His body fat percentage and visceral fat have both reduced, helping improve not just how he looks, but his overall health as well.

A great reminder that building strength and improving your body composition isn’t just for younger people. Well done Kevin 👏💪

✨ CLIENT SPOTLIGHT - Susan ✨

Susan is down 1.95kg in just her second week 🙌

What stands out most though is her attitude.

Susan has been learning how to use the MyVision app and track her food, not aiming for perfection but focusing on being consistent and understanding the foods she eats.

She has already started making small changes like increasing her protein intake, attended our Shopping Tour to build her nutrition knowledge, and is growing in confidence to come along to classes.

Susan is a great example of someone willing to give things a go, ask questions, learn, and make changes that fit her lifestyle. The scales are moving, but more importantly she’s building habits that will help her keep moving towards her goals.

The perfect wrap-up for an incredible quarter at Vision Personal Training! 🙌

Yesterday, our franchise network came together for our May Quarterly Meeting, a full day of big ideas, honest conversations, and real momentum heading into the second half of the year.

We covered a lot of ground: moving our network forward, locking in our Guaranteed Results approach, exploring how we are integrating AI to improve our internal operations, and uncovering how to turn open days and partnerships into a genuine growth engine.

We were also joined by brilliant guest speaker Dr. Bikram Karmakar from AUSactive, who gave a fascinating insight into the growing role of GLP-1 medications in the fitness industry and what it means for personal trainers and their clients. Thank you for making the trip, Dr. Bikram! 👏

A huge shout-out to three of our incredible franchise partners, Riley, Victor , and Jack, who got up and shared how they are winning in their local communities through open days, new business partnerships, and affiliate relationships. The results speak for themselves and watching them share their playbook with the network was one of the highlights of the day! 💪

A massive thank you to every franchise partner, trainer, and HQ team member who showed up, leaned in, and made the day what it was. These gatherings are a reminder of what we can achieve when our network moves as one.

During perimenopause and menopause, ensuring a well-rounded intake of key nutrients is essential. This week, our founder Andrew Simmons dropped into the Bangor studio to officially welcome our newest Studio Manager. A huge moment - and one that’s been well earned.

Here’s what Bangor’s owner Chris had to say:

“Jack - this one’s been a long time coming, and every step of the way he has earned it. We didn’t make it easy because nothing worth it is.

From trainer to senior trainer, to master trainer, and now Studio Manager at Vision Bangor… what stands out most isn’t the titles or the colour of shirt. It’s who he has been at every single level.

He shows up for people. Genuinely. That’s rare, and it’s never gone unnoticed.

For many women in perimenopause and menopause, fasted workouts can do more harm than good. Training without fuel increases the body’s stress response, often elevating cortisol levels and, over time, contributing to hormonal disruption, reduced performance, and loss of lean muscle mass.

Eating before exercise helps support stable energy, improve focus and performance, protect muscle, and reduce unnecessary stress on the body. During menopause, a light pre-workout meal containing both carbohydrates and protein is especially important - ideally around 30g of carbohydrates and 15g of protein.

A simple option is a small banana paired with a low-sugar protein yoghurt. This combination provides quick energy, supports blood sugar stability, and helps preserve muscle while minimising the stress response to exercise.

Fuelling your workouts isn’t a weakness - it’s a strategic approach to training smarter, feeling stronger, and supporting long-term health during menopause.
