๐ข SEASON KICK-OFF โ DRAW & TEAM UPDATE ๐
Weโre sorry for the late post of tomorrowโs draw and game times. Due to some late registrations, weโve had to re-jig our teams to make the competitions as even and fair as possible. This has also meant making some slight changes to our game times.
We have been very careful and considerate when taking everyoneโs requests into account, however, unfortunately we arenโt always able to accommodate every request.
๐ U11 COMPETITION
Our U10 competition has now become our U11 competition.
If your child is 8, 9, 10 or 11 years old this year, they will play in our U11 competition, with games starting from 3:40pm.
For the first few weeks, the first 15 minutes will be drills and skills, giving our new players a chance to learn the game and become comfortable on the field.
The second half will be a 15-minute game, with our referees and team managers there to help and support the players.
These first few weeks are all about learning, teaching, building confidence and, most importantly, inclusion in our game. โค๏ธ๐
๐ U14 COMPETITION
Our U14 competition has now been split into Boys and Girls competitions.
If your child is 12, 13 or 14 years old this year, they will play in the U14 competition.
Our girls currently have 3 teams, which means one team will have a BYE each week.
๐ The girlsโ team that has the BYE tomorrow will be contacted directly.
We are still accepting registrations, so if you know of any girls in this age group who would like to come and play, please get in touch with us! ๐
The U14 game times will change each week, so please keep an eye out for your teamโs draw and game time. Games may be scheduled around 4:30pm or 5:20pm.
๐ A BIG THANK YOU
As Iโm sure everyone can appreciate, we are doing our very best to make our competitions as even, fair and enjoyable as possible.
Weโll be watching the games closely over the next few weeks and, if we feel changes need to be made to teams to ensure the competitions remain balanced, we will make those changes.
Team lists will be posted outside the clubhouse tomorrow afternoon.
If you are able to help coach or manage the team your child is playing in, please come and see us at the clubhouse before the games start. Any help is greatly appreciated ,we genuinely cannot do this without our volunteers and our club community. โค๏ธ
Thank you all for your patience and understanding while we get everything organised.
Letโs have a great first afternoon back and, most importantly, letโs get the kids out there having fun! ๐๐
See you all tomorrow!
