Ponies & Pinot 2026 is getting VERY close, and the final bits and pieces are happening behind the scenes! 👀

If you haven’t already, please make sure your remaining balance is paid on or before Thursday if possible. 🙏

☕️ SATURDAY MORNING
We’ll kick things off from 9am with coffee & pastries at The Hidden Gold Restaurant. ☕️🥐

⛺️ CAMPING
Camping bump-in is available from 1pm Friday.

🐴 HORSE YARDS
Remember BYO yards, buckets and anything else you need for your horse’s setup.

👗 SATURDAY NIGHT
Bring something a little bit nice to wear for dinner! 🍷

🪑 CAMP CHAIRS
Don’t forget your camp chair — you’ll want it!

2 QOTT horses + Swamp Sloth 🦥

Absolve keeping up with his lessons, just working on balance and softness.... he's a nice guy with zero dirt.... he's just prone to getting heavy in front at this stage. He's going to make a lovely trail allrounder though.... and will be up for sale soon enough!

Our Frankie had her first outing. I've been putting off bringing this mare into work.... why?.... because I had a gut feeling I was going to love her and didn't want to be one step closer to the rehoming phase.... and well isn't disappointing. 4 rides in, and she's soft, willing and moves like butter. She wants to work over the poles, she put some nice turns together on the flag first day out and well.... she is just a lovely, lovely mare. Someone will be very lucky to put her in their paddock.

And the swamp sloth aka Bruce is back in work under Matilda! Remember Shelby - that funky little pony Mum bought in an online auction after a couple of 🍷.... well, she is currently as wide as she is tall. Turns out I got a buy 1 get 1 free deal. 😬 (my husband is still not seeing it as a discount). Alas - Matilda is kind of starting at the start again but its been met with excitement and determination, and no doubt swamp sloth will be up to speed on the obstacle life soon enough. 🥰

With only a month or so before King of the Ranges Stockman's Challenge, we've been hard at work with Roconono across the board.

Obstacles - I think our current nemesis is the teeter totter which he can be a little unsure about and the gate - we struggle sometimes to stand still and take the key out. 🔑 So both things we are working on - really its just confidence building for him.... In himself and in me.

Packsaddling - he's been a whiz! He seems to really enjoy packing. He has been awesome at problem solving with the pack and working out easily where he needs to be. Schooner will be lead horse for the event and he's absolutely loving the gig too! ❤️

Still some polishing to do, but I'm so proud of this guy. One puzzle piece at a time. ❤️🧩
