Congratulations to my good friend Alan Muston who has just won the overall Masters division at the APL National Championships.
At 68 years old, he deadlifted a whopping 255kg, squatted 205kg and benched 122.5kg.
Next time someone tells you that you’re too old, get them to have a chat to Alan.

A very proud Jason Myatt - weighing in under 100kgs for the first time in over 15 years!
It didn’t happen over night, it didn’t happen via a 6 week summer shred challenge and he didn’t lose it all at once. Fat loss is rarely linear.
Life throws curveballs - sickness, injury, periods of low motivation, life stressors and busy work periods - they challenge us all. The key is consistency over a long period of time. Having a supportive partner, a great gym staff and a friendly gym atmosphere all help the process too.
Congratulations Jas! Time to conquer more fitness goals in 2023 - one step at a time.

When your clients try to bribe you with marshmallow slice (homemade marshmallow what’s more), but you still hammer their quads anyway.
Apparently these are to share with the family- but maybe I should do my family a solid, and make sure they don’t consume the sugar, and eat all four pieces myself (it is Father’s Day this Sunday after all).
So, this appeared on my client’s page...
“Thanks to Craig's tireless encouragement and ability to figure out a workout despite all of my physical limits I have lost 15kgs, more if you include all the yoyoing 😉 so in total I have lost 25kgs. Now hopefully I won't put anymore back on like I have in the past🤞 Thanks Craig 💪”.

I love getting into the minutia and nuances of fat loss, but it becomes far too easy to focus on the latest supplement, a certain meal timing, or macronutrient combination that we don’t
“major on the majors”. Stop worrying about which is the best fat burning supplement if you don’t have the big rocks of nutrition, sleep and exercise in place. I know I can be guilty of missing the forest because of the trees.
