A big shout out to my Client/mate Tom. For the past year we have been working hard on muscular development using both unilateral and bilateral exercises as well core and balance work.

Not only that but this year he’s learnt to swim on his own. He shows up every day and gives 100% despite the obstacles he faces with Cerebal Palsy.

Super proud of you Tom 👏🏼

Chin Up Progressions:

1-Neutral grip/standard chin ups
2-Reverse grip chin ups
3-Standard pull ups

Technique tips: Keep shoulders low being careful not to over engage traps/ Engage lats on the concentric movement/ Lower to full extension on the eccentric movement.

With the gym opening next week I will be back training my clients full time out of Genesis. These last few months have taught me so much about myself. I’ve enjoyed spending time with my family, working on other projects and training outdoors. Even the little man has helped me with my PT sessions, which I will always treasure.

With so much going on in the world at the current time just remember we can all make a change, no matter how small it seems to us, it can lead to something bigger. And we owe that to ourselves and others. It’s a time to reset, to think about our passions in life, our goals and what we can do to make the world a better place.

Stay positive, listen, respect and grow 💪🏼
