All the basic skills to achieve a good shot

My POV
The shot doesn’t end when the string leaves your fingers.
That’s when focus matters most.
Stay with the arrow.
Stay with your breath.
Stay with your eyes locked on the target.
Because true aim is not only in the release…
it’s in what happens after.
In the stillness.
In the follow-through.
In that quiet connection between body, eye, hand, and intention—almost as if you’re traveling with the arrow all the way to its destination.
Sometimes in archery… and in life…
the magic happens not in letting go,
but in staying fully present after you do.

Last night was supper night at the Launceston Club. We had a good turn out of 13 shooters on a wet and windy night. We had a card or two blow off the frame which caused a bit of excitment. Afterwards we had supper and presented the clock to Barry as he had the best handicap score of 100.230 narrowly beating Andrew and Michelle with 100.200. Top of the r***e was Marcus and Michelle with a 194. Thankyou to everyone who braved the weather!
