Today we celebrate all of our Cove Dads. The ones coaching the teams, volunteering in a number of roles, cheering from the sidelines, driving to games, packing snacks, finding the best seats and offering encouragement every step of the way.

To the birth Dads, step Dads, foster Dads, Grandads, Dad figures, and those holding space for loved ones they miss - your support, strength, and love are seen and appreciated.

Thank you for being role models, motivators, and cheerleaders. You make our netball family stronger.

🧡🖤 SEEKING ASPIRING UMPIRES 🖤🧡

We are pleased to announce that SUNA are finally bringing back their Green Shirt Programme, which is designed to support beginner umpires as they develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in a supportive environment. Our umpires are an important contributor to our Club and an integral part of the game. For every team we register in either the SUNA or SAUCNA competition, we are also required to provide an umpire for every game. Simply put - without Umpires, the games couldn’t be played, and as parents, we would not get to see our children play the sport they love.

The Green Shirt Programme requires new or inexperienced officials to wear a green shirt, which makes them easily recognisable to players and spectators. The primary objective is for people to identify these officials as "learners" and to understand the demands, pressures, and support needs of beginner officials. The program aims to increase retention, value, and appreciation of all officials.

Clubs have been asked to nominate new umpires for this program, however places are limited for each Club so we are looking for expressions of interest.

There is an introductory session on Sunday 13th September from 9am-12:30pm and then 6 subsequent sessions to attend.

The programme fee is $75 per trainee, plus PlayHQ fees. Each trainee will receive a SUNA Green Shirt.

Our SUNA Winter finals continue tonight with our 11 Black team hitting the court for a big preliminary final.

They'll face Falcons U11 Red on SUNA Court 2 with the first centre pass at 6:30pm.

Let's get behind our Tigers, wearing our best black and orange and inspiring them to play at their very best!

🧡🖤 Cove Winter Junior Presentations are coming! 🖤🧡

Mark it in your calendar - Sunday September 13th from 10am-12pm at the Cove Netball Club. Our Junior Presentations encompass our Cubs, U9s, 11s and 13s.

We'll have a BBQ and bring a white T-Shirt for the Colour Run!

We can't wait to celebrate the end of the 2026 Winter season with you all!

🧡🖤 SUNA Winter Finals Week 1 Results 🖤🧡

Winter Semi-Finals time for our SUNA teams and our squads endured some heartbreaking results in some tight matches - there was lots of fantastic netball being played!

Firstly, congratulations to our Seniors White team who have won their way through to their Grand Final - we can't wait to cheer you on!

11 Black and 13 White will contest Preliminary Finals this week, ready to bounce back and give it their very best.

To our 13 Black, Seniors Black and Seniors Blue squads, congratulations to all on your great seasons. You've represented our club brilliantly.
