Introducing the newest member of our City Cirque team! 💛

Aira Danieca March Licardo joins us as our Studio Admin Assistant, helping with enquiries, bookings and all the little details that keep our aerial community flying.

A little about Aira:
🎓 A qualified pharmacist with seven years of experience before moving into administration.
🎶 A former tambourine dancer in her church’s music ministry - so she’s no stranger to performing!
🥟 A lover of dim sum, ramen, coffee and baking.
🌊 Happiest when she’s near the water.
💍 And a bride-to-be this November!

FROM TRICKS TO FLOW ✨

Spencer Craig is back at City Cirque for a three-part Lyra Workshop Series designed to help you move with greater confidence, creativity and intention.

Originally from Calgary, Canada, Spencer has over 25 years of circus training and international performance experience. His aerial hoop and straps acts have been featured on the stages of Cirque du Soleil, Blanc de Blanc Encore, Germany’s GOP Varieté and Switzerland’s Circus Knie. Most recently, he completed a sold-out season starring as Gatsby in Gatsby at the Green Light at the Sydney Opera House.

Whether you’re looking to expand your movement vocabulary, find smoother transitions or create choreography that truly flows, this series will give you practical tools to take back into your own training.

STRAPS FLOW WORKSHOP ✨

We’re excited to welcome .c back to City Cirque this June for his first solo workshop with us.

With over 25 years of circus training and international performance experience, Spencer has performed around the world with credits including Cirque du Soleil, Blanc de Blanc Encore, Germany’s GOP Varieté, Switzerland’s Circus Knie and most recently the title role of Gatsby in the sold-out Sydney Opera House production of Gatsby at the Green Light. Many of you will also know Spencer as one half of internationally acclaimed duo aerial act Duo Hoop.

In this Straps Flow Workshop, Spencer will share techniques for finding greater musicality, creativity and movement quality in straps. Students will explore ways to use spin to their advantage while learning a dynamic sequence adaptable to a range of skill levels.

DUO HOOP WORKSHOP ✨

We are so excited to welcome .hoop back to City Cirque this June.

Caitlin and Spencer have been performing together for almost a decade as Duo Hoop, with performances around the world including Cirque du Soleil, Cavalia, Blanc de Blanc Encore and Gatsby at the Sydney Opera House. Their iconic style and innovative aerial techniques have earned them international acclaim and awards across the USA, Switzerland, China, Italy and France.

In this signature workshop, Caitlin & Spencer will share foundational aerial hoop drills, partner basing and flying techniques, and some of their favourite duo flows.
