2026/27 player commitment.
Great news to have one of of 1st XI senior final players signing up and re-committed on for season 2026/27.
Angus Wood had a very steady year with the purple haze last year with 169 runs and chipped in with 4 wickets, with his fielding being first class and restricting the batting side each week.

Welcome to the new HUCC committee.
Following on from last previous weeks, i would like to introduce the last of the 3 committee members. Another two familiar faces and the third of our three ladies on this new season committee.
We have already been working hard to get ready for the start of the end season, which is only 106 days (until the 1st Saturday in October).

2026/27 player re-commitment
Great news that Sam Flockart has signed and re-committed himself for the 2026/27 season.
Sam missed the whole of 2025/26 season due to an serious ACL injury occurred during his footy season.
It's great to have Sam back at Sillitoe, especially with his high level of bowling attack and will give our new coach some selection issues for our senior XI
Welcome back Sam, and great to see your back to a high level fitness.

2026/27 player re-commitment
Great news that Fergus Murray has signed and re-committed himself for the 2026/27 season.
Fergus Murray had a break during the 2025/26 season to enjoy himself in Europe and travelled to various countries with some of his best mates.
It's great to have Fergus back at Sillitoe, especially after winning the 2024/25 Club Champion award, i'm sure our new coach will be delighted have an option to throw the ball to him.

BREAKING NEWS -HUCC NEW COACH -
🏏 Hampton United Cricket Club is excited to announce the signing of William Bowden as Captain-Coach for the upcoming season.
Will joins the club with plenty of experience and a strong cricket background, having been a valued member of Hampton Cricket Club 1st XI for a number of years as a quality all-rounder.
Some of Will's achievements include:
🏆 Championship Division Premiership player
🇬🇧 A successful stint with Hampton Hill Cricket Club in England
⭐ Multiple SECA and CSB representative honours
Will brings strong leadership, experience, and a genuine passion for the game. We're looking forward to seeing the impact he'll have both on and off the field as we continue to build towards the season ahead.

A challenge to all players is to share this post to at least two female friends to spread the word and let's get Emily Spicer-Stuart phone ring so much, that she will need to keep it on charge.
