🐠🐡🐟 A great effort today from the HLSC nippers at the Mentone Girls Grammar winter pool competition! In their first pool comp season, the team showed excellent determination, sportsmanship and teamwork, and saw fantastic results for all their hard work! Well done on representing the club so well. 🥽

🌤️🌳✨ Thank you, Holly, for representing Hampton at the Life Saving Victoria U18 Leadership Development Camp last weekend!

Holly's takeaway, "My experience was so good and fun -- I really enjoyed the camp, meeting new people and getting to know a lot more about lifesaving pathways. I learnt how to be a leader and it helped me with my confidence, because I didn't know anyone at the start and I got to know so much about so many people by the end."

💡 Recognising that Holly was the same age as some of the leaders, LSV created a hybrid role as participant/shadow leader to support her interest in youth leadership. A great way to put the theme "Strengthening Future Lifesaving Leaders" into action! Great work by Sheila Langley and Jess Woodward.
