Time to celebrate our Club greats who have played for our club Saturday after Saturday, missed Weddings, Birthdays, Functions, Special Occasions, just to represent the Southern Serpents Cricket Club they loved.
Alot of 2 days games and Saturday's played by these Champions of our great club

We kicked off our first indoor session last night with some impressive numbers and plenty of enthusiasm! 🏏
Whether you’re already part of the club or keen to get involved, there’s plenty happening over the next five weeks as we build towards a big season ahead.

🐍 SCC B GRADE LEADERSHIP – SEASON 2026/27 🐍
The Southern Serpents Cricket Club is proud to announce our B Grade leadership team for the upcoming season!
🏏 CAPTAIN – SCOTT THIELE
Heading into his 16th season at Southern and second as captain, Scott is passionate about helping our younger players build confidence and develop their game.
After leading the B Grade back into the finals last season, Scott has one clear goal — get back there and go one step further!
🏏 VICE-CAPTAIN – SHAUN REID
Reidy is Scott’s reliable right-hand man. With plenty of experience, he’s the man Scott runs ideas past as the pair work together before and during every game.
Scott and Reidy are a team, and we’re excited to see them lead the B Grade in 2026/27!

The Southern Serpents Cricket Club is proud to announce our leadership group for the upcoming 2026/27 season!
🏏 A GRADE
Captain – Johnny James
Johnny continues at the helm after leading the Serpents to two Grand Finals in the past two seasons. A Serpent through and through, Johnny leads the way with the ball and brings passion, competitiveness and pride every time he pulls on the green and gold. The goal this season is clear — go one better!
Vice-Captain – Chris Sampson
Since joining SCC three years ago, Chris has made an enormous impact both on and off the field. A back-to-back A Grade MVP, he has been a natural leader within the group from day one and will continue to be a key voice and driving force alongside Johnny.
