Better late than never to let everyone know that Brock Beveridge plays his 50th game for the Cats today!
Part of Camden royalty as one of the many Beveridges to pull on a Cats or Power guernsey, Brock will run out in today’s semi final against Parramatta in celebration of this milestone.

Affectionately known around the club as Brick, he was a member of our 2024 Under 19.5 Division Two Premiership side and has continued his rise through the club, becoming a mainstay in the first grade set up over the past 2 seasons. Known for his laid back attitude and electric pace, Brick will get the chance to celebrate game number 50 in a final, playing alongside his brother.

Congrats Brick, we can’t wait for many more years of Beveridges at the Cats!

Good morning Camden Cats! Another weekend of finals footy gets underway today with our Women’s Division Two side getting their first crack at booking their spot in their Grand Final in 2 weeks. Our gals are fresh off a week off, courtesy of finishing the season as the Minor Premiers. They come up against a Macquarie Uni side at Rosedale Oval, with first bounce at 12:30pm. Our Catters will be looking forward to the test as they look to book their tickets to a Grand Final for the 3rd time in 4 years. In case the girls needed anymore reasons to be excited, Vice Captain Ayva Robinson also plays her 50th game for the Cats! Cannot miss this one!

Over to Father’s Day tomorrow, when our Men’s Division One side take on an old rival in their Semi Final, where the winner plays on for a chance to make a Grand Final, while the loser packs up shop because their season is over. With so much at stake in this game against Parramatta at Blacktown International Sportspark from 11:00am, the boys will be up to the challenge in BJ Gamble’s 150th game. Another must not miss game!

Our Men’s Division Six boys enjoy the weekend off after an absolute battle against UTS last week, with their Grand Final next Sunday.

Another milestone game in a final as our Women’s side look to progress straight to the Grand Final in Ayva’s 50th game at the club!

Ayva joined us permanently from the Camden Cats Junior club in 2024 after having a taste of senior football as a teenager in 2022. Since then, she’s hit the ground running, being one of our most dominant players on the field in every game, constantly marshalling the team from the backline and directing traffic. Showing leadership beyond her years, this season Ayva was named the Vice Captain for our Women’s program after being a part of the leadership group in only her second full season at the club. Being selected for those roles is a testament her character and traits as a leader at such a young age.

We cannot wait for many more milestones from Ayva, and we’d love to see our Women’s side book their spot in a Grand Final this weekend!

Game 150 in a final for the man we all know as BJ! After a few weeks off, the milestone game we’ve been eagerly awaiting is finally here! Since joining the club in 2017, the majority of Gamble’s games have been for our first grade side, being one of our most consistent players during that stretch.

Known for his raking left boot and goal sense, BJ has played just about everywhere except the ruck, and excels wherever on the board his magnet is placed. His dedication to the club, making the long trek to training and games each week does not go unnoticed.

150 games for the Cats is no small feat. Congrats BJ, and we can’t wait for many more, as well as a win in this weekends semi final!

Do or die for our Men’s Division One against a familiar rival. The chance to earn their spot in their 3rd Grand Final in 4 seasons for our Women’s Division Two team. Our Men’s Division Six side with the week off after already booking their tickets to their Grand Final. This is a huge week of finals footy for Camden 😻
