Macarthur Wombats - Footy for Fun

The warm winter's weather held up and the rain mostly stayed away for some yesterday (Sun 14/6).

Meanwhile, further down south, one of our fav Illawarra blokes, Timmy Lawson was flying the banner for the AFL Masters National Carnival in a local match, along with wife Shiralee, who will both be at the big dance at Newcastle 2026. Great to see involvement as family.

Dust off the boots and come along for a fun hit-out this Sunday, 14 June, at 10:00am at Fairfax Oval with the Macarthur Wombats.

Whether you're a regular or haven't played in a while, everyone is welcome. It's all about getting together, having a laugh, and enjoying a game of footy.

🏉 ANOTHER CRACKER OF A WEEKEND FOR MASTERS AFL! 🏉

What a brilliant day of footy! A massive shoutout to the entire Sydney Masters AFL community for turning up, putting on a show, and proving once again that the passion for the game only gets better with age.

From the first bounce to the final siren, the standard of footy, camaraderie, and banter was top-tier. Win, lose, or draw, the real victory was getting through the game without too many pulled hamstrings! 😂
