☀️ LIVE LIKE LUCA TRY TAG RUGBY FESTIVAL

A day shaped by the joy of a little boy who lived a bold, bright, ball-filled life.

ARKS Rugby Club is proud to be hosting the inaugural Live Like Luca Tri-Tag Rugby Festival on
Saturday 14 November 2026,

in honour of Luca and what would have been the month of his 5th birthday.

In 2024, Luca’s family lost their beautiful, three-year-old boy. Luca loved rugby, kicking a ball around and being surrounded by people, especially at the ARKS fields. He had a huge personality in a tiny body and an even bigger capacity for joy.

His family has created Live Like Luca to allow the light Luca shared to continue to move throughout our community, while doing some of the things he loved, and support other families who find themselves living through the loss of a child.

The festival will bring together Little League, Youth, Junior and Senior Tri-Tag teams for a day at ARKS, with plenty happening around the games for families and spectators too.

Funds raised through the festival will be directed towards a project supporting bereaved families experiencing pregnancy, infant and child loss. Our goal for this inaugural event is to turn the generosity surrounding the Live Like Luca Tri-Tag Rugby Festival into something tangible that reaches families when they need it most.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Angela, wife of one of our long-time ARKS senior players, Keith.
Keith and Ange have been a much-loved part of our ARKS club family for many years, with Keith proudly playing over 250 games for ARKS. ❤️

Our deepest love and condolences go to Keith, their two beautiful children, Emily and Curtis, and all of their family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.

We’re asking our ARKS family and wider community to come together and support Keith and the kids however we can.

🏉❤️SUPER GIRLS — FINALS 2026! ❤️🏉
Last weekend, our Super Girls took the field for the 2026 Finals, and what a season it has been! 🙌🔥

Our Under 13 Girls unfortunately went down to the North Coast Sharks, but they played an absolutely awesome game of rugby! 💪🏉 From the finals to the entire season, these girls have shown incredible heart, determination and teamwork.

We couldn’t be more proud of our Under 13s and everything they have achieved this season. ❤️👏

Our Under 17 Girls, with some of our girls joining forces with West Scarborough, came away with the WIN! 🏆🎉

A massive congratulations to all the girls — what an incredible achievement! The whole Arks family is so proud of you! ❤️💪

A huge shoutout and thank you to Roughan, Peggy, Dan, Jayde, Gary, Courtney and Lauren for all your hard work, commitment and support throughout the season. 👏
