This week was Bullying NO WAY! week.
Bullying can happen in different ways. It might be physical, verbal, social or online. It can include teasing, name-calling, excluding someone, spreading rumours or making someone feel unsafe.
Karate teaches us strength, but real strength is self-control. Real courage is speaking up when something is wrong. Real respect is treating others with kindness, even when they are different from us.
If you are being bullied, you do not have to handle it alone. Speak to a parent, teacher, instructor or trusted adult.
If you see someone being bullied, do not join in. Support them, include them and tell an adult.
In this dojo, we choose respect. We stand strong. We include others. We use karate to build confidence, not fear.
Bullying, NO WAY!

Each pledge is a reminder that small actions matter. Including others, speaking kindly, showing respect and supporting someone who feels alone can make a real difference.
In our dojo, we choose respect.
We stand strong.
We include others.

This August, our club is proud to support Karate Australia 's Karate Against Australia Bullying initiative. š„
Karate teaches more than skills in the dojo. It helps students build confidence, respect, courage, self-control and resilience, values that can make a real difference at school, online and in everyday life.
Over the coming week, weāll be sharing ways our students, families and local community can get involved and stand together against bullying.
Stand Strong. Choose Respect.

Thanks to all my students who attended the Kofukan Karate Australia seminar this morning and for showing such a great effort.
Especially all the beginners who had not learned any Kofukan Fighting Combinations before.
We are very lucky and grateful to have Senseis from other clubs like Sensei Brian from Kalgoorlie, Sensei Don from Kwinana and Sensei Maria all the way from Sweden visit our dojo.
