What an achievement for our club. 🏆
Last night, the Fassifern Bombers had more than 20 representatives across our Junior and Senior clubs attend the Ipswich Rugby League Awards Presentation Night and there was plenty to celebrate.
For the second year in a row, the Fassifern Bombers were named Senior Club Champions of the Year.
It’s an achievement we are incredibly proud of, and one that belongs to the whole club. Our players, coaches, volunteers, supporters and sponsors, along with the continued support and strength of our Junior Club Fassifern JRLFC - Bombersp, all play a part in what makes Fassifern what it is.
We also had some outstanding individual achievements from our Senior players.
Jack Smith - Highest Senior Try Scorer of the Year
No surprises there. We’re still waiting for them to introduce an award for fastest guy to disappear down the sideline Jack would have that one sewn up too. 😂
Henri Stocks - Highest Senior Points Scorer of the Year
With plenty of tries to his name and an outstanding conversion rate, Henri certainly knew his way to the scoreboard this season.
And he wasn’t finished there. Henri also took home.
🏆 Representative Player of the Year
🏆 Senior A Grade Player of the Year
These awards couldn’t have gone to a more deserving person. Henri is a genuine role model for his teammates and our club someone who leads through his actions both on and off the field, and represents the Fassifern Bombers with pride.
A massive congratulations to Jack, Henri and everyone recognised last night. Plenty for the Fassifern Valley to be proud of.

We gave one of our fans a film camera and 36 chances to capture Grand Final Day.
The brief was simple show us the Grand Final through the eyes of a fan.
Not just the footy, but the atmosphere. The people. The nerves. Just the overall vibe. Everything that makes a day at Hayes Oval feel like home and everything that oozes that Bombers spirit.

Some call it a cow paddock. We’ve heard “tip” thrown around in our comments section too. 😂
But to us It’s Hayes Oval. It’s home.
And if our little country footy ground is good enough to host the 2026 Ipswich Rugby League Grand Final Day, with seven clubs rolling through the gates, then it’s more than good enough for us.
What a sight it was from above over the weekend.
A packed Hayes Oval, plenty of good food, cold drinks, fantastic footy and supporters from across the competition all making the trip out to Harrisville.

While it’s not the result we were hoping for, all we can say is thank you.
Thank you to our A-Grade players, to Star and the entire coaching staff. You brought a valley of Bombers supporters together, lifted our club and gave it the boost it needed to fight on into next year.
Please take this time to reflect on the incredible season you’ve had. We are so proud of you, and we’ll support you no matter the result. We don’t come back year after year because we always win we come back because we love the Fassifern Bombers.
And to our fans, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your support means the absolute world to us. You are the backbone of this club, and we wouldn’t be here year after year without you.

We asked you to paint the towns maroon, and you answered the call.
As the finals teams make their way to Harrisville today, they’ll see just how much the Fassifern Valley loves this club of ours. Thank you to everyone who put up colours, posters, balloons and streamers. You’ve made our home feel like Bombers territory.
Now let’s hope our A-Grade boys can bring the trophy home in the final game of the day. Up the Bombers! ❤️
