Tomorrow at 3:00pm, our Hastings Junior Football Club Auskickers will experience a moment they will never forget as they run out onto the senior oval for their Half Time Match during the Hastings Football Netball Club Seniors vs Seaford game.

For many of these little legends, it will be their very first time playing on the same field as our senior players—a special milestone and a reminder of what being part of one club is all about.

Bring the family, cheer them on from the sidelines, and help create an unforgettable atmosphere for our youngest Blueys. Let’s show them what the Hastings community is all about! 💙

Our Under 9s showing exactly what makes this club so special — running straight to congratulate each other after a great effort on the field (coach included!)

Moments like these are what we are building every week: a culture of encouragement, community and support. That’s the heart of HJFC.

We are a club for the kids, and we will never be anything but that. Because really, why else would we do it?

It’s about more than football. It’s about teaching our kids to cheer for one another, lift each other up, and feel proud to be part of something bigger than the game itself. 💙

⭐️ VOLUNTEER OF THE WEEK - MATT GRAY ⭐️

This week’s Volunteer of the Week is someone who truly embodies what community football is all about - Matt Gray

From Assistant Coach of the Under 9s, to chief of the BBQ, to umpiring, Matt is always the first to put his hand up whenever the club needs a helping hand. No job is too big or too small.

One moment that sums up Matt perfectly was when he spotted me filling in as Ground Marshall at an away U10s game. Without hesitation he said, “Lauren, I can do that so you’re free to watch and then head to the U12 game.” That’s just who he is—always thinking of others before himself.

Matt has a heart of gold, is a passionate advocate for our club, and is one of those incredible volunteers who quietly keeps everything running behind the scenes.

Thank you, Matt, for everything you do for Hastings Junior Football Club. Our club is stronger because of people like you. 💙

To say thank you Matt has received a 60 minute racing simulator session from Pro Racing valued at $80! Just a small token of our appreciation from the Hastings Junior Football Club committee and community!!

Yeah the girls! Not one but two female volunteer umpires today at our U10 game!

We are always so thankful to the parents and friends that put their hand up to volunteer to ensure our kids can play the game they love 💙

What a fantastic night at our Hastings Junior Football Club Disco Party!

It was wonderful to see so many of our junior players having an absolute ball—dancing, laughing, playing games and creating memories with their teammates. Nights like these are what community football is all about, bringing our families together both on and off the field.

A huge thank you to our generous sponsor General Public Frankston for donating some amazing prizes that helped make the night even more special.

And to our incredible committee and volunteers—thank you for everything you do. From planning and setting up, to running the night and staying behind to clean up, your hard work and dedication made this event possible. Our club is so lucky to have you.

Congratulations to Abby Lynch on reaching an incredible milestone – 50 games!!

Abby is one of the toughest and most determined players to pull on Hastings Junior Football Club uniform. She gives 100% every time she steps onto the field, never backs away from a contest, and plays with a passion and intensity that inspires everyone around her.

As a proud female footballer, Abby is helping pave the way for the next generation of girls in our game, proving that hard work, courage and commitment know no limits.

And what better way to celebrate game number 50 than by kicking our only goal of the game. A special moment in a milestone match that she’ll never forget.

Congratulations, Abby, on your first 50 games. We can’t wait to see what the next 50 have in store! 💙
