I have a few limited spots become available and have reopened my books including travelling and to take horses on training at our new training facility .With years of experience of professional riding and training with horses of all shapes and sizes specialising in young/ green and problem horses and ott.

combining a fantastic facility with rehabilitation therapy’s to get your horses in peak condition and / or speedy recovery

Rehabilitation:

Our excellent facilities offer the perfect location for horses to rehabilitate. With our range of rest facilities from stables - 14 horse barn to walk-in walk-out stables then progressing to larger yards and then onto a big paddock. Alckyra park is on flat land which can be essential in the case of a physical rehabilitation, as the horse is not expected to walk or stand on inclines that are detrimental to the best chance of full recovery. Alckyra park can offer the following rehab services with fully certified & qualified experts :

- JENT THERAPY
- MASSAGE
- RED LIGHT THERAPY
- LASER THERAPY
- PEMF THERAPY
- SET REHAB EXERCISES & PROGRAM

Spelling :

Short term– There are specifically designed yards for the more ‘short term’ spelling horse, they are smaller in size with less pasture and have well-built shelters to protect them from the elements.

Long term– Horses coming for a long spell where they are going to be turned out for a number of weeks or months, alckyra park can accommodate with large paddocks and with riverside location they can be irrigated all year round for continuous good quality pasture for optimum nutritional health.

Pre training / re training and education :

we offer an 800m loam & grass track where the horses can work left or right handed. The facilities offer a covered round yard, an 8-horse walker with rubber matting floor, 80m swim and cross fitness training facilities are available if needed for hill work or arena work.

Desensitisation:
We offer extensive desensitisation and natural horsemanship training to help horses and owners gain confidence and help with horses that a sensitive and spooky and need confidence building throughout their training.

Beyond greatful 💕🙏🥰

Blueblood Thoroughbreds had a horse. A mighty horse named Sea Sharp. He had a stellar career as a racehorse and was loved by all who met him, for his character, presence and huge heart. He retired to live at Cavallo Park Stud with Manager, Cate Lavender. She knew that one day, she’d meet the person destined to help him shine in a whole new arena. Fast track nearly five years, and Sea Sharp (Jack) is headed to stardom with Madi O’Brien of Alckyra Park as they enter the Equimillions challenge. Madi has put in the hard yards to bring him to full potential.
Cavallo Park Stud is pleased to continue with Jack on his journey and happy to sponsor such a great team.
We can’t wait to see the big man shine ♥️ Equimillion - an opening to Life… after Racing !

✨ALCKYRA PARK HAS RELOCATED & EXPANDING✨ Last week the Alckyra park team made a big move to a new property located in the beautiful foothills of the Hawkesbury in freemans reach.

We are now able to grow our clientele base and take on more horses with a bigger property with facilities that consist of :
- rubber lined 8 horse walker
- undercover roundyard
- 1000m dirt and grass track.
- 14 horse barn with double size boxes
- multi option paddocks all post and rail with stand off hot tape.
-5 walk in/out tables.
-jump out barriers.
- 80m swim channel

Our services include ;
- breaking and pre- training.
- thoroughbred spelling.
- performance horse breaking and education
- ott retraining
- on and off sight coaching and training
- rehabilitation for thoroughbreds and performance horses.
