A double congratulations are in order, as Team LPC has not one, but two representatives heading on exchange! 🤩
Congratulations Michelle N, LPC Life Member and Coach who will be managing the team on the upcoming exchange! Michelle has previously travelled with the China exchange, and has an excellent knowledge of all things international travel as PCA’s International Teams Coordinator, so these riders couldn’t be under better guidance!
Congratulations Michelle and safe travels! We can’t wait to hear about the adventure upon your return 💚
Michelle Newham | Team Manager | Pony Club Australia
Michelle will accompany the team as Team Manager and Pony Club Australia representative.
She’s looking forward to travelling with the riders and coach, watching the Australians tackle the challenge of riding unfamiliar horses and competing alongside riders from China, New Zealand and South Africa.
Having visited China several times before, Michelle says this exchange will offer a completely different experience. She’s also looking forward to reconnecting with friends at China Pony Club and seeing the team embrace everything the exchange has to offer.
Michelle’s family has always been her biggest support, with all four of her children growing up through Pony Club and competing from club through to National level.
Fun fact: Michelle named her Stock Horse mare Jessie after Jessie from Toy Story. When she later bought a young Quarter Horse, there was really only one option: Woody.
