💙 MEET KATE | OUR NEWEST COACH 💙
We’re so excited to welcome Kate to the BFT Camberwell coaching team! 🔥
We thought we’d let you get to know her a little better with a quick Q&A 👇🏼
🏋🏼♀️ Tell us about your background in fitness?
I grew up playing all sorts of sports, including high-level country & state netball and BJJ throughout high school. I also worked at my cousin’s BJJ gym, helping out with group classes while training myself.
When I moved to Melbourne, I swapped the mat for AFL and cricket, so staying fit was still a huge part of my life and the gym stayed part of my routine too!
💙 What got you into coaching?
I’ve always had a really nurturing nature, and combining that with my love for sport and training just made coaching feel like the perfect fit. I love being able to do something I’m genuinely passionate about alongside my 9–5 and when you love what you do, it doesn’t really feel like work!
🔥 Favourite BFT program?
SUMMIT. No question!
👀 Where might we find you if you’re not at the gym?
Playing sport or out and about with friends.
🤫 Something random people might not know about you?
I grew up in country Victoria most of my life and I’m the youngest of 5!
We’re so excited to have Kate joining the Camberwell crew and can’t wait for you all to get to know her! 💙
Make sure you say hey when you see her around the studio! 👋🏼
Welcome to the team, Kate! 🔥
