The Mighty Yarras! The Club won its first Premiership in its 4th season (1971) in addition to appearing in the finals in 1969 and 1970.
History
The Club was formed in 1967 initially as the South Yarra Presbyterian Football Club and played it’s first year of Competition in 1968 when the Club finished 5th in E Grade of the Eastern Suburban Churches Football Association. The Club also won premierships in the ESCFA in 1988 and in the first year in the Southern Football League in 1993. (The Southern Football League was “born” out of a

SEMI FINAL RESULTS 🦁
The Yarras are through to the Preliminary Final after a hard-fought 10-point victory over Pakenham 💥

Congratulations to our Team 8 netballers who took out the E2 Grand Final in a 12-point victory over Murrumbeena
The girls came out firing and we in control for more of the game. Despite Murrumbeena taking the third quarter, our girls held their composure and finished strongly to seal the win
A massive congratulations to Lelah Smith for being named best on court 🏅

Congratulations to our Team 7 netballers who took out the D4 Grand Final in a nail-biting 2-point victory over Highett
After trailing for most of the game and down by 6-points at the start of the last quarter, the girls were able to dig deep and claw back the lead with under 2 minutes left on the clock
Final Score: South Yarra 34 def Highett 32
