Heidelberg United FC is pleased to announce the appointment of Enrique Santos as Pre-NPL Technical Director.

As well as looking after our Pre-NPL and Miniroos Programs, Enrique will be launching a HUFC Centre of Excellence and Master Class Programs. He has over 25 years of coaching development experience and has run programs with proven results. He is a massive appointment for Heidelberg United.

Enrique has developed many players for A-League Academy Clubs, European Academy Clubs and Senior Professional Clubs in Europe.

His extensive coaching experience has equipped him with the necessary skills to demonstrate the game and its tactics at the highest level. In addition, Enrique has developed the inter-personal skills required to provide a safe, developmental, and professional environment at all times.

Enrique's personal philosophy in his coaching and life comes from his primary focus - that human development must always be first and foremost -

From a tactical standpoint, Enrique employs and favours the practice of ‘Tactical Periodization’, made famous by the likes of FC Porto, their Dragon Force Academy, as well being implemented with tremendous success by world class coach Jose Mourinho. Individually, Enrique’s personal philosophy in his coaching and life comes from his primary focus – that human development must always be first and foremost – “Champion People Make Champion Players”

We welcome Enrique to the Club.

Session 3 of NPL Boys Trials are tomorrow as per the times listed below. Please note that Session 2 of the U14 Boys and U15 Boys are still going ahead tonight. U14 boys (7PM) and U15 Boys (5:30PM).

Heidelberg United FC are now accepting Expressions of Interest for players looking to join our football program for both Girls and Boys for the 2023 season.
Heidelberg has a very strong football program throughout all teams. The Club would like to welcome all players who are motivated, committed and are determined to develop their football skills.

Congratulations to our own Heidelberg United U13A player Nicolas Koussoulas who has been selected to represent the U12's Victoria State Team

Nicolas has been excelling after playing up this season and throughly deserves his opportunity

Nicolas will travel to Perth to represent School Sports Victoria at the School Sports Australian Football Championship later this year
