Friday night at Doncaster Secondary College - one night, one stage, and one seriously proud studio! 💜🥹

Our Mid Year Demo, Elevate, was electric!. A sold out audience, a brilliant atmosphere, and every single one of our dancers showing up, doing their best and having a blast. From our littlest recreational classes to VCE Dance Units 1–4, our senior tap and classical dancers, and our competition teams - the range of talent and heart in that room was something else entirely🥰

For our competition teams, Friday was extra special - this was their first chance to perform our 2026 routines in front of a live audience of the people who matter most. Family, friends - all their biggest supporters under one roof. And now? They take all of that energy straight to the competition stage - because their first competition is THIS WEEKEND with Southern Federation of Dance 🏆

To every dancer - you’ve worked so hard to get here. The rehearsals, the notes, the late nights, the nerves - it all showed up on that stage in the best possible way. We are so proud of you 👏🏻

To our teachers -thank you for pouring so much of yourselves into every class, every routine and every single dancer. The brilliance on that stage on Friday is a direct reflection of your great passion, talent and dedication 🌹

And to our families - thank you for filling those seats, and for filling the air with cheers 😄 Your support means more than you know, and our dancers feel it every single time they step into the spotlight ❤️

This is just the beginning of what is going to be an incredible 2026 competition season. Let’s go Studio V 🎉

It starts with a jeté 🩰

Jetés aren’t easy. For little legs still learning to coordinate a jump, a stretch, and a landing all at once - it takes real determination. And our under 6s bring that determination to every single class, without fail 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

What looks like a simple skill is actually building something so much bigger. The focus, the resilience, and the pride of doing something hard, and doing it well - that’s the foundation that carries them forward, both on and off the dance floor!

We truly believe the early years of dance aren’t just about steps. They’re about learning to try, to keep going when it feels tough, and to feel proud of yourself when it all finally clicks 🥹

And that proud little face at the end? That’s exactly why we love what we do 💕
