The Helensvale Hawks are thrilled to announce that Kane Nelson and Jacob Nelson have signed with the club!

We’re incredibly proud to have the Nelson brothers call the Hawks Nest their new home.

🏆 Kane Nelson – Current Australian Jackaroo, who made his international debut earlier this year.

🥇 Jacob Nelson – Australian Emerging Jackaroo and the 2024 Australian Champion of Champion Singles Winner.

A great day at Club Helensvale yesterday as the 2026 Moncasa Homes Open Triples was held, with an excellent turnout of 42 teams (126 players).

Congratulations to the winners: Chris Mitchell, Graeme Howie, and Wade Clayton.

Club Helensvale will be hosting a Charity Day in support of Adam White, who has recently been diagnosed with ALS (Motor Neuron Disease).

This is a devastating and terminal illness, and our thoughts are with Adam and his family during this incredibly difficult time.

The purpose of this day is to help ease some of the financial pressures that come with such a diagnosis, including:

• Medical treatment
• Travel to appointments
• Future care and support needs
• Household expenses
• Supporting Adam’s wife and children in the years ahead
• Creating meaningful memories together

Adam and his wife have made the very difficult decision not to share this news with their young children just yet, in order to provide them with as much stability and normality as possible while they process this as a family. We kindly ask that you respect their wishes and avoid discussing this with children who may know the White family.

Come down and support our Hawks in their major championship finals tonight at Club Helensvale.

Club Helensvale would like to congratulate the two teams selected to represent us at the upcoming Yamba Lighthouse Fours.

Last year we sent an all girls team who qualified for finals. This year we are sending 2 mixed teams skipped by our BPL stars Nathan Rice and Kelsey Cottrell.

We thank Yamba Bowling Club for the opportunity and wish our teams well!
