In combat sports, it’s easy to admire the champions under the lights. But sometimes the greatest displays of character happen when nobody is watching.

Coming from a gym that is heavily evolved in Muay Thai in QLD we would like to publicly acknowledge and thank Brodie Stalder for an incredible act of selflessness.

Brodie has travelled overseas to help prepare, support and corner the young athletes as they represent Australia on the international stage. What makes this even more remarkable is that he has a fight of his own just around the corner.

The reality is that 9 out of 10 fighters would be completely consumed by their own fight camp. Every session, every meal, every recovery day is focused on getting themselves ready. Yet Brodie chose to put that aside to invest his time, energy and experience into the next generation.

That says everything about the kind of person he is.

The Muay Thai community in Queensland is built on people who give back, and Brodie has embodied exactly what our sport is all about—humility, sacrifice and helping others succeed.

Our young athletes are incredibly fortunate to have someone like you in their corner, and Australian Muay Thai is stronger because of people like him.
