tiktok@weddingdancediva Nobody wants to look silly out there on the dance floor! Preparation is key and all you need is 3 hours to learn your very own wedding dance! I want to give the new generation of Brides & Grooms an opportunity to learn to dance in a fun, supportive environment, in a style that empowers them. Whatever song you choose, we will create something special for your ability. Please note we are fun, positive, encouraging, energetic, teachers, we aim to get the best out of our couples, and this reflects true in our lessons. Catering for absolute beginners to semi-pro dancers, from North Brisbane to CBD. Don't drive half way across town for your dance lessons, 3 locations to choose from, Hendra, Kallangur & Windsor. Private lessons between $80-$95 per hour. Most couples book 3-6 lessons and start 2-3 months prior to their wedding date
You will get:
Meet your diva, try a few steps so I can gauge your learning style and ability, and work out your lesson plan. I will put together your music, how ever many songs you choose to mash up. Videos of your progress to take home and practise between your lessons ... just in case you find time ;)

Your instructor Kylie has been a professional dancer for 20 years, teaching and choreographing to people of all ages and abilities. Styles you can learn include Foxtrot, Cha cha, , Waltz, Salsa, Bachata, Rumba, Jive, 2 Step, Jazz, Funk, Hip-Hop, Lyrical. You can choose romantic songs and do lovely spins, dips, lifts, and feel like Cinderella. You can choose to mix it up and get down and funky, Gangnam style, Grease lightning, Jump on it, MC Hammer, M.J, J.T, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, any top 40 or old school jam you want to use! Wherever your imagination takes you, we can create it together. I love cheesy, so if you want to really entertain your crowd and make them laugh, we can totally spoof it up. If you want your whole wedding party involved we can create something flash mob style! Hi 👋 I’m Kylie

If you’re new here welcome!
Wedding Dance Diva was born 10 years ago because I saw a need for a change.

Music isn’t the same as it was 20, 30 years ago, but we were still dancing the same way we did back then.
Our grandparents grew up with dancing as part of their social skills. We, on the other hand, dance only when we are 5 tequilas down when we think we’ve ingested a new super power. 🫣🤷🏼‍♀️ (No? Just me?)

Change….
Wedding Dance Diva embraced a style that wouldn’t take months to master. Steps that look beautiful, are easy to learn, and beginners can nail quickly.

Being in an era where everything is captured on phone and shared with the world, I wanted to make wedding dancing cinematically beautiful, and accessible to couples wanting awesome results in as little time possible.

So here we are. Creating something special for you. Instilling confidence in couples with no dance experience, to your favourite song (even if it’s Ed Sheeran for the thousandth time 🫣) in just 3 or 6 lessons! 😮‍💨

Behind the scenes of running Wedding Dance Diva I’m a wife, a mother to our 4 year old son, a coffee addict, line dancer, sun seeker, beach lover, ex cruise ship dancer, extraverted introvert, type A and possible adhd ? Idk you tell me.

Every time a couple tell us “we can’t dance”, we will respectfully disagree 🫣

We start with walking you through each and every step, right beside you, prompting you every step of the way, until we’ve built your dance.

We practice and polish the finer details so it becomes easier, flows better, and feels more natural, then add those wow moments you weren’t sure you’d manage.

You’ve practiced in your shoes and we’ve filmed you like paparazzi, we’ve talked about how the nerves might effect you, and we’ve got your back up plan in place.

The day comes and you’re ready!
All that’s left to do is enjoy it and celebrate the moment!
