Netball athletes certainly don’t go easy on the posts... lucky ours can take it.

After collisions, a fair amount of force and plenty of action, our netball posts at Nissan Arena have seen it all.

We were originally brought in to replace the existing posts after they weren’t quite up for the job. All these years later, ours are still going strong. 💪

Built to handle the demands of the game, they’re ready for whatever comes their way.

And judging by these photos... they get tested pretty regularly. 😅

📍 Langford Indoor Sports Centre, WA

This impressive multi-court, multi-sport facility is officially ready for game day, and we have to say, we’re loving how this one came together. 🏐🏀

The result is a flexible, fully equipped space that can move seamlessly between netball, basketball and volleyball. Our dividing curtains, adjustable basketball systems, scoreboards, shot clocks and central touch screen controller all come together to make switching between sports simple and efficient.

It’s so rewarding to see something we’ve been involved with from the early planning stages become a finished facility that’s ready to be put to work.

Now that it’s all ready to go, the only question is... which sport are you playing first? 👀

Where does the time go? ⏳🏐

Back in 2024, we kitted out Craigslea State High School’s volleyball academy and its wild to think this facility could help shape future athletes on the road to Brisbane 2032 🌟

From school gym to (potential) Olympic and Paralympic training ground - that’s a full circle moment we’re proud to have been a part of.

Behind every safe game day is equipment that's been properly checked. ✅

It's easy to assume equipment is safe simply because it's still standing and still working. But basketball systems, dividing curtains, goal posts and more all wear down in ways that aren't always obvious — until something fails at the worst possible moment.

That's why HiTech Sports offers comprehensive safety audits for both new installations and existing equipment. Our experienced, accredited technicians check the structural integrity of your systems, adjust goal heights to meet regulation, and provide a detailed report — so you know exactly what condition your equipment is really in.

Services can be scheduled annually or biannually, and we recommend setting up a regular schedule so nothing slips through the cracks.

Hasn't been inspected in a while? Don't have a current service provider? Let's fix that.

Get ahead and get in touch to book an inspection for your facility.

Two upgrades, one safer court. 🏀

Swipe to see how backboard pads and safety straps work together to protect players and equipment.
🔹 Backboard pads cushion impact and reduce injury risk, protecting players from collisions with the backboard during play.
🔹 Safety straps guard against one of the most overlooked risks on indoor courts with roof mounted backstops — worn or frayed steel winch cables and fittings. Our straps secure backboards against cable or fitting failure, keeping your backstops stable and safe.

Not sure if yours need attention? Our maintenance team can inspect and replace worn straps, or install new ones.

Part of our Safety Options range, built to close the gaps in your court's safety setup.

From worn and worrying to safe and sound. 🏀

This before-and-after says it all — but here’s what you might not see: during construction, safety equipment is often left off the lift to due budget constraints. Over time, that gap only widens - rust, loose fittings, worn cabling and compromised backboards can hide in plain sight until it's too late.

This is why HiTech Sports takes a safety-first approach to every refurbishment. We can boost the safety factor with key safety upgrades like backboard pads, safety straps, electric motor, spring loaded goal upgrades and backboard replacements.

Retrofitting these features doesn’t just refresh the look – it closes the safety gap that budget constraints left behind at construction.

Was your facility’s basketball system installed without these features in mind? We’re here to help.
